Hi, Friends-- I've run upon hard times these days, and would like to offer my O&R/Polaris Power Pole Outboard for sale. I'd like a fair price for it (fair to us both) and prefer someone here to have it rather than a squabble on Ebay. Hopefully, someone can offer a reasonable price for it, plus shipping. I've been out of work for about 15mo. now, and may have to go on SS if I can't stay afloat much longer. Here are some pix; the Carburetor section shows the carb of this unit being rebuilt, and other sections show the interior of it all. Possibly to solder a ball onto a brass tube and use it as a lapping tool, with some fine compound? or do the same with a fuel needle from a Walbro or Zama carb that has an all metal needle, to get a flat taper rather than a ball shape, so the surface can seal better.

Yes,sir--that'll make a breeze for sure! It has a great carb that will respond a lot better than the original. I like the innovation for seealing the back of the crank too. -
Very nice, Timm-- I wish I could mount my outboard on a canoe just to see it run. I don't think I ever will though, sad to say, since any canoe I might be able to borrow would still require an attaching point like you have. And, I haven't run it much, so I don't know how well it would get me "across the lake" or wherever. I do think it would really be fun though. Enjoy!

Heya, John--They look great! If you are thinking of making a coil cover, you might design one that is a bit smaller and covers the coil just right. Maybe black--I don't know what material you might use--a buddy R/C modeler would make a plug and a fiberglass cover for it. Then you could make them and sell them. Gotta research the boltdown locations tho. Lots of model paint colors to choose from. I'll be watching!
