Looking really nice, going to look great painted!

I've been wanting to make one of these for a long time so today in and amongst painting I knocked one up out of scrap wood to work out the sizing of the actual one. Here are some photos.

This is the wooden frame that I made

A load of angle iron was dug out that I acquired some time ago.

Thanks to my dad for the welding.

Here is how far we got, still lots to do but it's getting there

			Little bit more done.

The fenders have now been sandblasted and rust holes have been welded.

They were then filled the best they could.

Bonnet has now been etch primed and any small pits were filled.

The bonnet, seat and a few other parts have now been painted cream, it looks a lot better on the photos than it is in real life but they were both rough to start with.

The first coat of paint has been put on the fenders and some other parts.

			Thanks Ian!

I already am, he's now saying he wants a yellow tractor!

Thanks Paul, all being well it will be at Johns show

			Thanks norm, nearly finished now

Thanks Chris, I'm really pleased with it, especially since I have never picked up a spray gun before I started the resto

Lots is going on in the run up to my first show of the year.

	The bonnet has been sandblasted

There was quite a few rust pits hence all of the filler

Trackrods have been added and stainless steel nuts and bolts have now replaced the old.

	Back on all four

Hoodstand back on with the new decal

The front grill, wiring loom and decal now in place

The new light switch that I turned from a photo of the original to match what was on the tractor.

Nearly there now, just got the seat, fenders, bonnet and then a few little pieces but I'm very happy with it!

I love my e-tank, after 12 hours the paint just falls off.

Cheers, he does all the welding for me, I do everything else thought I might rope him into some painting this weekend

Thanks Ian, I'm happy with it and my painting skills are getting better

I wish, still bits to clean up yet but!

I'm getting lots done now that I've finished school

The engine has been mostly reassembled now

The hood that was ready for the scrap bin has been patched up the best we could, at least there is metal there now, with a bit of filler it should look ok.

With thanks to the warm weather today I got lots more painting done and some parts got reassembled

Hi, does anyone have one of these sitting around that they no longer need as mine is in a state of disrepair, thanks

Lots of parts have been cleaned and painted this week here are some photos.

We started work on the bonnet which was very holey

Good luck to your son, I am going to study Architecture.

Tomorrow is my last day of sixth form, I have to go into school for exam revision and exams but officially I have left and then I start university in late September. Plenty of time to be projecting

Yes, it wasn't a pleasant job!

Possibly, might have a look at that.

Cheers, Chris I'm pleased with them.

All being well, I finish for a 19 week holiday tomorrow

Not much done lately due to having lots of school work to do, here is a little update.

The wheels are all finished now.

You can just about see in this photo that a previous owner wanted to put a larger sized battery on the dash tower and so they had taken a hammer to one of the sides to break the spot weld so we set to work on replacing this piece.

This was the first piece to get replaced, the holes are where it was spot welded before.

	Here is the replacement piece

This is the replacement side piece that we made.

The screws that held the tail light on had no head left so I drilled them out.

Luckily it came off and the original bulb still worked.

Lots of new stainless steel bolts and washers have been bought ready for the reassembly

Looks awesome, going to look great with the ash

Montgomery ward Gilson S-12? Nice find!

Looks fine to me, or at least thats what mine looks like
