Just a small update on the Conyers story, we visited our mate Steve down the coast this evening after visiting Chris and Pam Sutton (who are both ok), talking to Steve in his garage/musuem he suddenly said " you better have that Conyers then", so now I own both sets featured above !! Thanks Steve...

Evening all, home and settled now , thanks for your nice comments guys, its always nice to come home with something to show for the work thats been done Overall a good show although there is a couple of things I need to raise with Mark Woodward, NVTEC East Anglia section happy bunnies with two firsts and three seconds this year Most of the Horticultural section has already been covered by photos but I will put up a couple of my own later on

Sorry missed reading this yesterday evening, pleased to have jogged your memory Stormin' Isfield station was closed by British Railways in 1969 and sat derelict until purchased in an auction by Dave Milham in 1983 The station was restored and track relaid, the railway was sold on to the Lavender Line Preservation Society in 1993 I helped run an annual Vintage Motorcycle Run from the station from 1984 to 1986 and then carried on with the event as a Memorial Run until 1992. The horticultural meet and greet events have been held at the station over the past four or five years so you could say I have been involved with events at Isfield for quite a few years...
