Had thought of that one John, the door did not look strong enought to take the weight of a tractor so I will use the ramps I already have and just have the door as side opening and not weight bearing !!
-
-
Well tell her 9 is a nice round number !!
-
750kg Gross Trailer weight and the trailer empty weighs 250kg, so 500kg carrying capacity, that should be enough for what I want to carry in it
-
mmm I have done that before !!
-
Tell your good lady its a present for her, worth a try !!
-
Yes it has been treated already so its not a mat on bare wood...
-
As I said might be worth a phone call...
-
Yes I will check that every so often, these mats (stable mats) are great but I know that they can hold water underneath, so it will be lifted regularly to check out the floor...
-
Here's the 240 volt Conyers genset, its got a JAP 2A tank on it at present, Steve D has given me the right tank for it so a change over will happen somewhen, its on my "to do" list !!
-
Yes but I think he might want to sell it.
-
Neil you are right there is a 100 in The Showmans stable but I'm not sure for how much longer, might be worth a chat...
-
Rubber matting now fitted to floor, expertly trimmed to fit by my dear wife... she's a good girl
-
At least its all under cover and out of this crap weather Steve thats the main thing mate
-
Thanks for your comments gents
I also have a 240 volt Conyers set with an Aspera engine on it plus various flavours of Tarpen generators, 110 and 240 volt with wattages ranging from 400 to 1500
-
That looks great, top job !!
-
For most events we have the use of the inlaws motor caravan, I wouldn't put a window in the trailer for the same reason as it won't be decalled up, I don't want people to know whats in it...
-
Ah, remind me before Newby Hall, I have a most of a spare unit for a Wheelhorse that you can have for a nominal sum...

A mate of mine down on the Sussex Coast (no not Mr Showman) has a large collection of stationary engines, mainly generators and battery charging sets, amongst which is a little set made by W.E.Conyers Ltd. I always fancied this little set and thought if one came along I would add it to the collection, as its 6 12 or 24 volt I could use it to demonstrate the 12 volt Tarpen equipment that I have.
Walking round the Sunday Sortout at Newark last November I spotted a Conyers set on the very last stall we looked at. It wasn't dear so was duly purchased and brought back to the camping field (see first photo below)
A few days later I popped down to see our mate Steve who owns the other Conyers set and found that not only did my set run with a bit of tinkering (and a bit of smoke - too much oil in the petrol) but that it and Steves set are only two serial numbers apart !!

-
Its back on there Neil...
Installation depends on the application, for your Trojan you may need some mounting brackets fabricated...
-
Heres a photo of the second Multigardner on the rotavator chassis, taken yesterday evening, nearly finished...
-
And heres another few items I picked up last year...
-
Fantastic job, well done !!
-
