HeadExam 1,783 #8 Posted March 17, 2015 What if you could find someone to collect 5 plows then ship them all at once, would that be cost effective? 1 Triumph66 reacted to this
Triumph66 1,256 #9 Posted March 17, 2015 Thanks Head Exam; I would potentially be interested in this idea subject to shipping fees and the dreaded tax. Anyone else interested?

HeadExam 1,783 #13 Posted March 17, 2015 I see them around here all the time, I could start rounding them up until we reach 6. I think I've bought and sold more than 6 of them in the last two years, mostly as a favor to those that needed them. What would it cost to send them over to GB, and whats this about a tax. I don't pay taxes on much of anything being a ex service member and a rancher with 20 acres or more doesn't pay on any farm supplies. 1 Triumph66 reacted to this
Stormin 4,458 #14 Posted March 17, 2015 Everything's taxed over here. Even my pension. It's import duty + vat we have to pay. I don't know anything about importing stuff, but there are those on here who have done. What kind of price are they over there?
meadowfield 1,900 #15 Posted March 18, 2015 just modify a Barford Atom plough... it's an easy mod! Only one i know of is kevin aka kphorsefan. I was lucky to get an original wheel horse 12" moldboard

Stormin 4,458 #18 Posted March 23, 2015 They're like hens teeth over here. This looks like on very nice plough.
4x4forks 258 #19 Posted October 8, 2016 Can I add me name to the list of looking for a Brinly plough
Stormin 4,458 #20 Posted October 8, 2016 I use one off an Auto Culto walk behind, behind my C-121 Wheel Horse. Darn sight cheaper than a Brinly.
expeatfarmer 591 #21 Posted October 12, 2016 If you do go down the import route it is important that you check on the classification of goods, certain things like antiques may be free of duty.
