Triumph66 1,256 #7 Posted June 8, 2015 I like bitter and Real Ale myself and fortunately for me the SW has a plethora of good breweries to keep me lubricated!
meadowfield 1,900 #8 Posted June 8, 2015 I'm a real ale buff too, but the south seldom does decent beer! 1 Triumph66 reacted to this
Triumph66 1,256 #9 Posted June 9, 2015 There's a distinct regional differences to real ale around the country. I enjoy Timothy Taylor's Landlord Ales.
meadowfield 1,900 #10 Posted June 9, 2015 As it happens, Taylor's brewery is 2 miles from where I lived with my parents. Must've been past squill ions of times. Golden best is my all time fave. 1 Triumph66 reacted to this

slf-uk 914 #12 Posted June 9, 2015 Real ale has my vote. We have some great breweries in East Anglia, with larger ones such as Adams and a lot of good smaller ones. Woodfords is my personal favorite with St Peter's a close second. In order to set the correct priorities and ensure it was compelling for people to attend, we had our wedding reception (many years ago) at the hall located on the St Peter's brewery site and arranged brewery tours for all our guests.
