    Mmmm! I wonder if that came of the C-125s deck when I rebuilt it. I thought it was odd to belong to the C-81.

    My C-81 is missing it's I.D. plate. Now I have found what I think is possibly it. Not very legible as on a plastic label. What I can make out says Toro, something Street, Southbend U.S.A. Model number :- 78351. Serial number :- 00109. Engine details are :- Model K181. Spec 30538. Serial 182220732. I think it actually Belgium built and imported by Mountfield. Does all the above tally up?

    Looks good. Only thing bothering me is the effect on the harrows bouncing, as you drive over rough ground. All the weight is on those two hooks at the front. May bend them.

    I leveled a neighbor's garden for a lawn with similar setup. One pallet, two pieces of rope and some rocks. Worked a treat.

    A bar to lift it will take up less room in your van. That's what I would do.

    More than one way to skin a cat, besides chopping it's legs off. You don't want to much weight on it when in use mind.

    Modify your T bar so that the harrow can hang from it using the slot hitch. The chains fasten to the standard hitch. When in use, the T-bar is disconnected from the harrow and removed or just raised.

    Forget about the frame. Join the chains to a ring and the ring to the hitch. I'm sure that's how the ones at the farm are. I have to go there this afternoon, so 'll check.

    I take it the standard hitch will slide into the box section? You could use the slot hitch to lift it off the ground. Length of box with one end to fit the slot hitch and long enough to lie along the harrow when down. Some QD method of fixing box to harrow for transportation. Lift slot hitch and harrow should lift up.

    Thanks for the favourable comments, lads. Just would have liked the paint finish to be a little better and it's going to be a beggar to keep clean.

    Well the C-121 is now up and running. Still mods to do, but they will get done in time. Bit different to how it looked almost 12 months ago. All that's left now is the arrival of the stickers. Also new tyres when funds allow.

    Rear wheels back on and fronts off. Gave them a couple of doses of paint stripper. Bartoline Tx 10. Good stuff. Far better than Nitromorse and a darn sight cheaper. Finished off with wire and flap wheels. All masked up and ready for painting tomorrow.

    Weather turned sunny this afternoon, so out came the paint. Two coats grey primer, two grey undercoat and two of silver. In between coats a spell in the low bake oven. That's where they are now.

    Not being a Bolens man, but should the left hand side chassis tube be bent?

    One plough is for Chris and one for me. Mine will be behind my C-125 or C-121 eventually.
