    C-120 refurb.

Bit the bullet today and bought some hubs, bearings etc. Spent the afternoon boring out the wheel centres and re-drilling the stud holes. Now all I need now are wheel spindles. Forgot about them.

That pin shouldn't be the problem. As said above, is the deck drive belt tight enough? I tighten up till I can just squeeze the bottom runs together. Between deck pulley and mule.
  3. All the Best Nigel. I must say for a 100yrs old, your in good shape for the shape your in.
  4. Got it today. I did get a mention, not sure about the Dentons though. Don't remember seeing their C-81. Last photo is mine. Interesting to see it's supposed to be rare. I wonder how many were built and what number mine is? I haven't got the ID plate though. Just the Mountfield serial number.
  5. Nice job. What's the RAF connection?
  6. Some nice horse drawn implements there.
  7. My favorites are :- (1) The Bedford wagon. Rear and left and right side tipper. Petrol engine on LPG. (2) The VW engined buggy. (3) Morris van. (Wheel Horse transporter)
  8. You hope! When the adrenaline goes up and the red mist comes down, caution gets thrown to the wind.
  9. 'Tis indeed sad to lose one's pets. But at least he's at peace.
  10. Can't see the Black Horse. Good show though.
  11. A bit shiney Nigel. Posh even.

They look good Doug. But I'm not sure the hub OD will fit inside the dish of my wheels. PCD on the scooter wheels is 2-3/4". Centre hole in the wheel is 2-1/8".
  13. There's a nice set of those on that auction site. Not far from me either.

I've no idea and I don't have any, Koen. Suspect the spindles will be different anyway.

Your right Ian. Just need to find some suitable hubs or make my own. Re-fitted the newly painted front and centre tachomatics today. Who knows, I may need them for Rural Past Times. I'd best get the rear one done as well. Plus lift cable.
  16. You've not wasted any time. Looking good.
  17. Never seen delphiniums like these two before. Supposed to be straight up. That cane is nothing to do with the bent one. It's behind it. The other has got its self in a right knot.

Afore mentioned wheels primed. Should have taken a before photo. Look a bit better, eh! Chris?
  19. Woke this morning to rain. That soon cleared up and the rest of the day has been bright, if a bit breezy. Got a pair of front wheels for the Black Horse cleaned up and primed. Got all the grass I cut yesterday swept off the green. Rescued Carol and our Loris mother-in-law, when the Spitfire stopped while they were out for a spin. Fuel pump sticking through lack of use. Tap with a screwdriver and all well again. Last but not least, sold the caravan. Only advertised it at the site last weekend. Going to clear it out later this week, then that's no place to go and hide.
