I'm sorry to see that Mark. My dad sold Dixon, as well as Wheel Horse at his dealership when I was a kid. He only sold them for about a year, because he said they weren't very well built, and they were very slow on paying their dealers for warranty work. However, as a kid, I thought they were great, and they were certainly one of the original pioneers of the zero turn mower. Sorry for your loss.

Very nice work, and great job preserving old iron! What brand of engine is that?

Thank you sir, and I don't know where to find a cheap diesel at the moment. Especially in your part of the world.

Wow Koen, thats a beautiful bunch of old tractors you have there. I loved watching your 27 Mc Cormick Deering in action, as it always puts a smile on my face to see a tractor that old still able to go out, and do what it was made to do! Yep, very partial to that one, and the Wheel Horse, of Course!

Love the tractor cover! I can see thats one spoiled Horse, and rightfully so.

Just to be clear, this is not a restoration. This was just a fix anything that needs fixing, and slap a coat of paint on it, refurbish. My dad has a large piece of property, and we picked this up at an auction for $200. Its an old 93 Toro Groundsmaster with a 25hp Mitsubishi K3D 3 cylinder diesel, and a 72" mowing deck. This thing is a MONSTER. It will mow a lot of grass in a hurry!! My first time using it was not pretty, as its huge mower deck takes some getting use to. I mowed lots of plants, and small trees that I shouldn't have. My mom said "keep that monstrosity away from my flower bed"!!! Anyway, here are a few pics. You can see from some of my patches on the deck, that the previous owners had a hard time avoiding, smashing into things with this huge deck as well. This deck was very rough!

Nice looking bunch of tractors! I've never herd of an Allen Motostandard before. It must be one that never made it to our side of the pond. Looks like a well built machine! Now, on the last picture of the self driven trailer, is that something you built, or was that a production machine? Very nice either way, and thanks for the pictures!

Thanks Richard. I think you should post up some pics, and an overview of your C-120 restoration Richard. I'm sure it would be a very well read thread, as well as showing what a proper restoration can look like, if you take your time, and do it right.
Thanks Mark, its appreciated.

To late Craig. Like I said above, I did this a couple years ago, and its been a full time mower ever since.
Neil this has already been in full time mowing duty for a couple years now. Its not as pretty as it was in these pics, but she's still looking good, and working even better!
Thanks, and I couldn't agree with you more TITCH! There is alot more than paint, that goes into a proper refurbish, and of course, regular maintenance after.

Thank you Sir, much appreciated.
Thanks Ian, but I got nothing on your imagination, and ingenuity my friend! Your the king of Wheel Horse Creations!!!

Thank you, and thats what I'm hoping for. This is my dedicated mower, and we have to mow year round here, as we don't get snow, and for the most part we don't see temps below 32. Although, today is our coldest day of the year, and the weather guessers, say we may get down to 28 tonight. Waaaay to cold for this southern boy!
I'll take that as a great compliment, after seeing your beautiful C141 !!
Thanks Andy. I do like to try and keep them original, but I have to admit that I like the extra power.

Absolutely Gorgeous! Kevin, my only question is this: Are you actually going to work that beauty?

Nigel, you have some serious skills!

Well, I thought I'd post a couple pics of my B-80, that has been repowered with a Kohler K301 12hp. This has been my mower for about 10yrs now. It was missing its original engine when I got it, so I repowered it with a well worn K301 years ago, and worked it like a dog for many years. It finally came to the point it was burning more oil than gasoline, and the tractor had surface rust all over it, so I decided to give it a refresh. I rebuilt the engine, as well as anything else that needed some love. Its been almost 3 years since it was refreshed, and its still my full time mower of choice, although I use some of the other tractors occasionally. It doesn't look quite this nice anymore, but it still runs like new.

Very solid looking ole Cub Original! I had a chance to buy one for a very reasonable price a few months ago, but I had so many other projects going, and such limited funds, that I passed it up. I really regret that! Look forward to watching you restore yours.
