  1. Jeff its great to catch up with you again and must say that your collection is the largest I have seen. I hear that your weather has been very cold lately but we are coming up towards spring as we say here,so the sowing season will start again. take care for now .
  2. TTTTTTell me about itttttt. I still have a cold and that's 2 months back. will have it insulated for next year with 50mm of cavity wall insulation. called CELOTEX OR EQUIVILANT

  9. I am led to believe that the fire proof foam used for household seating is ideal because it does not catch fire and the dense material soaks up sound with ease. If you make a wooden box to totally encase it with an air gap of 6 inches after foam is stuck on and also make a air vent near to the motor fan it should keep it cool. Have fun

  11. yes I will be there as the show also is looking for Lister engines and working equipment which is driven by a engine. have been told that there could be 1200 going and so with my c 61 I will be in two camps.

  13. First of all,many thanks Richard for uploading I am totally s'it at computers and many ,many thanks for this. Also to everyone who has commented on the engine BIG thanks all round. Gareth this paint job was done with the brush and I am getting better at it the more I do. it looks like 2 pack on the shine .

  15. reconstruction of the handlebar framework and also the hand made custom grips which I have developed and fitted. That engine sounds sweet does not even sound Villiers, more Italian

  18. hi,hello and welcome. the atco mower is getting a very popular resto at the moment. I to have one like yours Titch and will get around to it at some point.It will be the last mower I restore as at the moment I have 5 more than enough. here it is.
  19. Engine sorted ,now onto cutter cylinder and surrounding metal work Handlebars and fuel tank have been rubbed down and are drying on the paint line

  22. Was going to upload a video of this small high performance engine but too big for this forum to receive they are no wheels on it because it has a built in long roller at the rear of machine. will be easy to see later in restoration.
  23. Engine flywheel cowl fitted here and now for the engine run up and adjustments to smooth out the tickover.
