No tools are required to separate the three parts, it has a spring loaded mechanism for the frame & the seat section just slides in.

Was thinking the same thing. It does seem familiar but can't remember if that was a just a web pic or if it was directly from him.

New for this month. You noticed its not this weeks project any more This is because it will take a while.
shops getting busy every one wants there lawn mower fixed so I  will need to work around the time we have.
Picked  this up off ebay a year or so ago I liked the gas tank thought it was cool.
So will get it running again missing a muffler and a carb diaphragm assembly and cylinder baffles as always.

This is my later 13B Grow Gear trimmer, the handle is different but it has the same plastic gas tank.

 
The earlier Paramount (re-branded Teles in the UK) hedge trimmers have a very similar gearbox & cutter assembly, but use the vertical round gas tank.

Any ideas what application a Type 150 would have been used for?

I'm working on a different approach making the original bearing retainer bigger in the center to add a seal
I'm not sure but the aquabug has a seal like this and i found a seal that looks like it will work.
I have a man making me the tooling and hope it works out. 

It shouldn’t be an issue, especially since most of the rim looks ok, it just has to make contact with the bottom of the carb when the lever is pushed down. I’ve seen much worse that still work.

thanks for the info on the bar i just went through my kids rooms and in my 4y room found a broken toy car cut off the rod for the tire sized and filed to fit snug it looks like the original one

Came home this evening to some cool original O&R goodies. This bundle has some original, and very detailed service manuals, several service bulletins and some misc brochures, mostly chainsaws but there are a couple other cool ads. I haven’t even gone through this in detail yet but thought I’d share some pics.

This bundle has some original, and very detailed service manuals, several service bulletins and some misc brochures, mostly chainsaws but there are a couple other cool ads. I haven’t even gone through this in detail yet but thought I’d share some pics.

Yeah, Got'er done. This project gave a reminder of why I don't like to paint. The prep work is tedious and and messy plus after it's done it needs to be handled with care like a new born baby. And the patience needed to wait for it to cure is a problem since I want to always put it back together too quick. The end result is nice to have though.
The first color it was painted was too far off, this color is just a tad lighter than the original paint but a pretty close match. The handle/gearbox cover piece was left original because the decal is complete and in very nice condition. It may get masked off and sprayed but then it'll need bar decals and a nicer bar. I'll find some nicer oil and gas caps for it too.

Thought I'd add a few photos that were in my archives of some of my attachments.

Thanks David that helped out got all the spacers cut and found some nuts for the top.
The top cracked a little when I tightened the nuts but not bad .
I will live with it for now but still came out ok.

Now cleaned up and on the shelf with the others...
 

Carb is rebuilt and ready to go huge thanks to Just O&R for sending me the parts I needed

Well I've accidentally bought myself a O&R powered mini-bike .
It's one I've not seen before, does anyone recognise it?
