    Ok so it has more squish you remember the originals are 50 years old they to were probably a littler more compressible when they were new. look they would work just fine.

    That look exactly what I found when I opened this one up. Well maybe I should take it apart and make a few gaskets. Seems like it has enough end play .

    Your probably right it didn't look like it had been apart. I have never seen one with a gasket that thick.

    Will I finely got new inspiration to get going on this project . Now from the looks of it we can put it back together with the proper cover and fuel tank. ( I was told sometimes a blind squall finds a nut) So no we can get this going with a little help from a friend . Got the crankcase back together and stated cleaning up some parts. OH BY THE WAY THANK YOU IN ADVANCE CLINT

    Never had a big problem myself I only have three hands two normal one and a big belly to help hold something down.

    That's interesting never had a problem getting fire out of one just remember seeing a service bulletin well I will make a note of that so I know whats rite. thanks David

    The round part of the push rod goes to the points turn the crankshaft so the points are open as far as they can go then gap. Here is the coil and condenser specifications sb s-e035.pdf

    I will need a spark plug but also a gasket set do you have one. maybe a part or two we cane make it work. I see now what the problem is there is no air filter If your going to send something you need to send an air filter.. Here we are off on something that has nothing to do with the post now I know why David goes nuts.
