Now we know how he get his projects done ( two of the kids ) My problem is I sent them out of the house a few years back all I have is a cat.
Witch sometimes the clews come in handy ( mice snakes criders )
looks great all back together!!!

Here's a short video, ran ok (not so much for this clip) but then starved for fuel after maybe 5 minutes every time. Loosened the fuel cap, drained and cleaned the tank, opened up the carb.. seems very sensitive to fuel level/sloshing. Diaphragm maybe?
 
 
Ran great while clamped to a 2x4 in a vise but as soon as it got near water.. or under a load... oh well. 

No I hadn't, mainly due to the round ones being available in more sizes, I spent quite a bit of time one day (while I was furloughed from work) measuring parts and searching through data-sheets to find the nearest sizes, then ordered them all individually from one supplier.

Well she showed up today she looks in good shape I will need to do fuel lines carburetor the normal

Back to work this week sent my wife to Florida for a few weeks .  I will go down on Saturday for a few days
its hard to getaway this time of year. Got the tank cleaned out today and I am repairing were the battery acid
melted the plastic on the lower screw that holds it to the tank. ( best to take the battery's out
The battery acid seems to eat in to the plastic.

Yes, the 6/67DAAK01-67-C-1182 (they had a typo) looked familiar to me so I jumped on it. I figured even if wasn’t the Type 133 like I was hoping, that any NOS O&R engine was worth $28.

Clint I could use 4 or 5 of those just to put some engines on that are just sitting on a shelf

No I don't have the number on the one I used . But from past experience just because the bearing number is 6001 that doesn't
mean all the measurements are all the same. been there done that before

You mean this one, it was just delivered about 30 minutes ago  
Unfortunately it did not come with a tank mounting bracket or air cleaner. Otherwise it is fresh NOS.
 
Also found the warranty card and operation pages hidden away in the box.  The engine itself was wrapped in the comics section of the newspaper dated Dec 1959.

I think its about time for an addition to the shed it looking a little cramped these days. Maybe a second store ?

Got the urge to play with the drill press out in the 120F garage. Decided to build another stand.  I think this one will be good for engine test runs.
 

Got a little time this morning got the carb back in together. We are working at lightning speed todays. need to clean out the tank does
anyone know how the fuel pickup is in this tank fuel inlet to small to put my spy camera in .

They have stoves men just can’t use them

Nothing wrong with the small engines that were the big one came from.

I bought 10of them when i found that they would work let me know if you need one

Coolest thing that I've seen done with these engines to this point...the enthusiasm with O&R's is at it's peak and doesn't look like it will stop climbing for a while.

Starting the tear down of the Landscaper 600. Went ok for the most part but the main spindle won’t come free from the crankshaft. It has a single threaded screw that attaches it to the  end of the crankshaft like most engines. It is really seized up on there. I tried all the usual tapping tricks but still no luck. I also noticed that the entire spindle and crankshaft are super wobbly and loose. I’m hoping it’s not broken inside the engine. The bearings are most definitely shot, hopefully the shaft is not cracked. Not sure what to try next to get this spindle off.
 
Definitely going to take some serious cleaning...
 

Ok, here’s the little project I’ve been working on for the last couple weeks.  I’ve been wanting to make a small lawn mower/trimmer with an O&R and I had a nice 133 military engine that needed to find a home.  Thanks to Terry@Just O&R, he was able to hook me up with the perfect vintage mower - it was exactly what I was hoping for. This one is a 14” Sensation, perfect size and design style for the O&R.  
 
It’s not 100% done yet but I couldn’t put off getting some photos posted. I’m still working on the actual trimmer concept and plan to go with more of a weed eater head set up instead of a mower blade.  I plan to use the starter cup off a vintage Pioneer chainsaw and drill three holes so I can pass through some pre-cut Trimmer lines with end-stops. I’ll figure out a good way to secure the cup to the spindle shaft. I also added a stop button to the back plate similar to a few other O&R tools I have.  I’m also finalizing a short throttle cable, doesn’t really need one but thought it might be nice. After a lot of hunting I ended up finding a cast aluminum boat chair pedestal that made the perfect adapter plate to mount the engine to the mower. I also had to swap out the normal Type 133 mount with one that has a couple more inches in height. This was needed to get the right clearance for the gas tank.  Just a note, the early style Drillgine gas tanks don’t mount to the newer style engines and I had to make a couple slight mods to the casting on the case to get all the clearances to fit right.
