Chris got a reaction from OldBuzzard in Got myself a Cub Cadet
Mate of mine has had this in his garden for 15 years. He wanted to sell it & thought it was worth a fortune in its current condition.
We finaly done a sensible deal we were both happy with & I picked it up today. Its got some wheel weights. It did have a snow plough & deck but they are long gone
Needs to go through my loving hands in my workshop. The steering is stuck solid! When that maybe I dont know?

Chris got a reaction from OldBuzzard in Scored on a rare attachment
Lucky.
Bet we will never have anything like that in the UK
Years ago I knew of an HT20 which had a cab. It was hung up in the shed for years & when the tractor was taken away it ended up in the skip. I know, I saw it in there.
If only I had known all these years later I would own an HT20 it would have fitted.
That would have been super rare in the UK

Chris got a reaction from Triumph66 in Bolens Lawn Keeper
Glad to see you have got them.
If that was me, I would just oil them all up & leave them as is
I doubt you will never find a deck for the LK, but you never know if a poorly scrapper may turn up

I have yet to ring my mate Mark, who has the other LK. He may have an engine.
With a small person to tend to in the eves, I have not had the time

I would kill for some of your collection
I would love a front loader for a LF tractor. I was told of one years ago, but lost track of it
Attachments for bolens are rare in the uk, most are in Iain or Andrews sheds

Chris got a reaction from Triumph66 in Saxon Trailer Rebuild
Well one of my projects 2015 is to rebuild a Saxon tipper trailer which has been sat in the workshop for a few years.
Its the larger model 2m x 1m body. I know some of you have these also
When I brought it back, most of it was on the floor of my ifor as it was so rotton it was just falling to bits
Any how, I put the angle grinder to it yesterday & removed whats left of the frame ready for the chassis to be blasted soon. This piece seems solid & I need to chop the end of the draw bar off & renew as its been sat in the mud for a year or 10
The remains of the frame are now in the bin, I am going to re use the pins on the new frame
I have the sides which also need replacing & the floor as there was not a sign of it
No pics as yet as I was keen to get on
Keep you posted
