nylyon got a reaction from steve d in a question for the moderators?
Questions about the forum or it's functioning can never rock the boat.  I'm here to help you take full advantage of the forum and if something isn't working help get it resolved or understood.

We use a purchased software which is highly customizable, BUT there aren't any options to alert members when their attachment space is reaching capacity, I wished that there would be it would certainly resolve some frustration.

With the addition of the Gallery however, it will be easier to see when members approach the 40 picture limitation.

Again, no rocking the boat, we do our best to insure that the forum is highly available whether or not you're a supporter.   For more information on the supporter program see here

Membership on My Old Machine is free, and there is no obligation to support the forum financially.

My Old Machine operates on a paid host with commercially obtained software which entails periodic renewals and charges.  Because MoM is in it's infancy it is supported by a larger community WheelHorseForum.com. This arraignment is necessary because the cost of operating a professional highly available forum is not free.

While our forum grows, it will begin to utilize more resources than RedSquare can or should allow and eventually My Old Machine will need to become independent.  To assist in this independence, we have created a supporter program which is designed to fund the operations of My Old Machine.

Becoming a supporter is NOT mandatory to be a member, and as a free member you will enjoy all of the primary benefits of the forum.  Supporting members enjoy these benefits plus:

Unlimited attachment sizes (Non-Supporters are limited to 16Mb)
1 Album with 40 pictures in our Gallery
    500 Personal Messages (50 for non-supporing members)
Access to the supporter only forum.
    and a special supporter badge.

Again, supporting the forum is optional, but we do value your support and look to be an independent site.

Becoming a supporter is easy, simply visit our store and purchase your one year supporter membership.

nylyon reacted to Ian in My MOM stickers have arrived :-)
As you all know Mark has produced some MOM stickers to help advertise our great forum, and this morning my order arrived.. Thanks Mark

Knowing my Wife would be too keen on me sticking a sticker on the back of the car, I had to come up with another place to put it that will be seen by the masses...

So I stuck it on my shack monitor which will be seen a lot in my videos

One of the oval MOM stickers will be going on the back of my 6x6 which will be seen at a couple of shows and in my videos..

The other one will be going on Project "Why Not"

So come on boys and girls, buy some of Mark's 1st class MOM stickers and help promote our great forum. You know you want to

It's always nice to meet up with a fellow forum member, but it's really special when they live half way around the globe.  Neil took a holiday to the U.S. and we were able to meet up at the Annual Wheel Horse Collectors Club Show.  The time flew by and Neil was sort of like a celebrity because of how far he came. He's a great man, and Carolyn is a wonderful woman as well.  We had some great conversation and my daughter Megan REALLY liked learning from a U.K. perspective things like food, people and of course Dr. Who!  (long story, we only receive ONE channel from U.K and that is BBC America so our choices in shows are greatly restricted).

Anyway, it was really great to meet him, and not just because of the distance!

Thanks for visiting us here Neil!

Well i was approached by this American Geezer blokey chappy dude from new yoik, about what to do with a not used much forum & there was a wonderful opportunity to create an international forum  for people to display & chat with like minded others  .so from there MOM was born.

Members have grown steadily over the last few months from allover Europe & USA and more members join each week to show their wonderful machines .
We value each & everyone of our members and we are continuely striving to add more& more features to the site to improve the experience here on the forum, so forgive me if i use this as a moment to plug for members to consider becoming supporters of Mom by visiting our store
So whether you are a member or a supporter ,thank you for regularly visiting us & sharing your thoughts & experiances ,as mom wouldnt work without your input.

By the way , i hope to be meeting that blokey chap US dude from New Yoik in a few weeks time so will thank him  in person for
    helping us set up Mom

Yes will do a project when I start it. Been saying I will get it going for the past 5 years!! All I have done is get the tyres fixed so I can move it

Plan will be to get it running & keep it in working clothes. The pic makes it look better than it is. If I had 2 years I could make it like my HT20

We took a trip onto the Somerset Levels to lend a helping hand to those that needed it but found there wasnt much that could be done apart from barrow stone to make the bank of thye river parrett higher to prevent flooding into houses.
Here are a few pictures that shows the full scale of the flooding & also showing the BBc & Sky news reporters that were covering the tragic story .
In one of the pictures  show a resident just rescued with a few belongings & her pet West higland terrior

The other west highland terrior is mine

nylyon got a reaction from neil in Has anyone used Seafoam for their engine ??
I've used it in my Onan 416.  The tractor had been surging so I thought that I would try some Seafoam.  I gently poured some into the carburetor and really didn't notice a difference so I ended up cleaning the carb on it which made it run a lot nicer.  Then put some in the tank and after that tank, it ran like new again.  Not sure if it was the cleaning or the sea foam, but it didn't do anything when pouring into the carb.

Since being a young boy my family has gone camping in some sort of RV (caravan). We started with 5 of us in a 12' Pickup Camper, the kind that slide into the bed of a pickup truck and grew into a 5th wheel.

When I had kids of my own, it felt natural for us to go camping as well.  We started with a 19' Hybrid camper (a solid wall unit with tent like ends which are where the beds are) then onto a 34' trailer and finally to our current 5th wheel.

Even if just for a weekend, I like to get away from home, lounge outdoors with a cold beer watching the world go by, only getting up to get another beer
