having worked on both extensively in the past I personally would disagree, I find the honda has a lot more in built faults than a Briggs, but if it's running well, I equally wouldn't remove the honda.
looking at my scrap pile at work that says it all really working on both makes professionally for a main dealer there are far more busted briggs engines than honda on said pile as you said paul if it aint broke dont fix it !
just done some digging brimotor are still in buisness they make various implements from gennys to hedgecutters etc the are based at culverden down in tun wells
im 99% sure that engine is a motorsaccoshe or mag engine as we more comonly know them
if you hang on ian i should be having a big lathe turning up at my place in a couple of weeks and i will be needing a bit of a lesson of how to use it properly
lucky old you
ian you could get the engine vapour blasted that will bring it up to an intense shine without much elbow grease on your behalf which means you could spend your time getting the tractor finished
nigel told me about mom when i bought the pacemaker from him that must of been back in may time has flown by ive met some great people along the way and made a few new friends aswell well done chaps
Can't wait to see the video of it in action Ben Any guess on it's top speed?
well i think it could be a ukwheelhorsebloke video exclusive given my abilities at loading stuff on here
top speed wise mobiliticus on its test run wont be that fast because she is running a governor at the moment
when i break it down for painting i will de govern the engine and add a few little tricks then she will rev to about 5400rpm if required or brave enough
the question is do i fit the one shot nos kit mmm maybe i will think on that
the new project handy landy
