  1. did a little bit more today mainly with the workshop bandsaw chopping bits of steel to build up the platform to clear the big wheels

  3. i finally got started on the scooter properly today as you will see from the following photos ive got the front wheels fitted to it and the bodywork mocked up in place still a fair bit to go but its getting there the quad is gradually getting stripped as you can see here is the front end with wheels attached im quite pleased with the look here it is side on the scooter will be stretched somewhat from its original wheelbase but i dont think this will be a bad thing should help prevent potential wheelies occurring but probably not noiw for the back end more to follow soon

  6. hi guys im after a rather nice shay rotoscythe county model at the moment only trouble is its located in blackwood gwent south wales a little far for me to travel i was wondering if there were any members from that way that may be able to help perhaps that are coming to biddenden tractorfest or could help as a go-between to collect it and help with courier transport to me in kent obviously all expenses etc would be remunerated
  7. nice literature guys it is very thin on the ground for the boadicea im still waiting for my manual that was ssupposed to be coming from the old lady i got the last one from fingers crossed she will find it one day

  9. that my good friend is a hayter harrier 41 self propelled model they dont make them like that anymore trust me i know if you want another drive belt let me know and i can sort one for you

  17. you may well be right about it being a deluxe model seeing as it has chrome handles. ive also looked closely at the paint its definatley factory it hasnt been re-painted im glad i was able to give it a good home too many of our old machines end up getting thrown away or weighed in for scrap!
  18. i have 5 or 6 for refurb and resale with newer honda engine fitted but this one im keeping in the collection i think its quite a rare beast in this colour etc ive never seen another and ive never seen one with chrome handles or the clamshell opening grassbox

  20. bloody ryobi strimmers they shouldnt be allowed in this country there rubbish i have a fist full of them at work too i might as well bring them over your place they can make friends with your ones
  21. i was at work today minding my own buisness when an old boy came in to the shop and said would we be able to dispose of this for him! ive never seen one in green with chrome handles and with its clamshell grassbox very pleased i am
