Thanks for the positive comments on this RAM. I am hoping Nigel will find out more about its history. I think this is a '61 model.

I Seen a lot of these in gold and I think White/ cream came into standard form from the mid 60s. Bolens don't half make it difficult to ascertain paint colours on the older ones.

Thanks Nigel, an absolute gem of a find. Love it! Will sort out collection/payment via PM. That red will have to go........ 1960 to 63 and I think 8hp? It should be gold with white wheels if it's 1963 but before that date I think it was green. T.je I'd number will glean more information.

That's a lovely looking farm there and outbuilding; in the UK you will be hard push to find a tidy farm. The WH look good against the backdrop of the old building.

Tom, I saw these attachments on Monday when I visited Ian and Nigel to settle up on the Huffy Broad Lawn ride on. They look in really good condition though I didn't see the cylinder mower attachment. As others have said, a good haul. Well done Andrew

I called in this afternoon to see Ian and Nigel to settle up on the Huffy Broad Lawn ride in purchase (it looks better in the flesh/metal) and I saw birth thier handiwork. Both look damn impressive and for those that don't do projects, there's a lot of work and skils that goes on behind the scenes. I look forward to seeing both their machines on the circuit later this year.

I have sold several vehicles which I have regretted. I have been a classic car buff for years. I regretted selling my original Morris Traveller to finance a new central heating system for our new then house. I also regretted selling my Series 3 Land Rover which I have put back on the road after years of neglect for some other boring financial necessity. Though I was sad to sell the VW Bay camper van in orginal condition I made a mint on it. I sold it to a guy who had more money than sense and I know he wouldn't look after it as he was a follower of fashion. A pity but money talks regrettably. I had an Agrati Capri scooter which I sold to a guy who promised to restore it but saw him advertising it the next day on eBay..... I find it difficult to sell and I am a hoarder by nature.
