We replaced the battery and make up some new battery leads for the Estate Keeper. Joseph did the work, it took him a long time but he got it done

We did some work to get the tyre changer working and it is proving to be a very useful tool. When time allows it will have a full rebuild and I think I may be able to make an adaptor so I can use it with small front tyres.

Yet another good one Joseph.    Forgot to say that I spotted a familiar looking tire changing machine in one of your other video's. Nice to see it has been brought back to life.

This was AFTER the makeover Alain.  You should have seen him before his visit to the beauty parlour.

Great video Joseph. The Westie come up very well; only another 50 or so garden tractors to clean ......

Just a bit concerned about the tramp who muscled in on the video.  I guess you gave him a brown paper bag with a cheap bottle of whiskey to quench his thirst to make him go away?

Another good one Joseph.   But who is the scruffy old git. ?   Could it be the mysterious Iain that we sometimes hear about.   Whoever it is I expect he will be gasping for breath now after moving at that speed.

Great video again. I see that Iain's aerial photography technique been vastly improved since he did his practice at Gatwick a few weeks ago

I do like the camera shot underneath; very cool .

I assume the purple strap was there in case it needed towing by a Bolens TF?!

    Great looking tractor btw.

Another good job Joseph. Looks like Dad dropped the camera and ran when you headed towards him.

Joseph made a quick video of cleaning the paint on the Westwood. Not sure who the scruffy old git is

I believe it is a MF exhaust. I installed it on the tractor when Joseph was very young and I wanted to ensure the exhaust fumes were way over his head. We have plans to remove it and replace with something more original in design and look.

For the moment I have ordered one of the newer shaped aftermarket ones. I will be looking for a original but as you said, I will need to save up some money first.

In this country we have the extra joy of the Post Office for anything ordered overseas, unless it comes via ebay Global Shipping. Before Christmas I ordered something overseas which cost me £12, the Post Office then charged me £2 import duty and £8 handling fee, plus 20% tax, giving an overall import cost of £12 - 100% increase on the initial purchase price. The Post Office does have a massive hole in its pension scheme which it needs help with, but this is taking the biscuit.

Alexis de Tocqueville  was sent to America in 1831 by the French government to study many aspects of our government and wrote a book about his findings and comparing them to some of the problems Europe was facing due to a socialistic government. He believed one day America would fall to the same ways as more people demanded more for doing less. We are arriving at that state as we speak.

Those aren't cheap, hope you can source an aftermarket part, some of the original NOS stuff goes right of 60 dollars US, even aftermarket ones go 30
