Thanks, going to concentrate on getting the engine running right, I'm not keen on the drayton with its tendencies to run on the oil in the crankcase and over revv ect and become difficult to stop! Suppose it's avoided by draining regularly.
May bring another machine to HVC rally, could do without any deadlines in case I've got the engine in bits!
Sorry I can't sell you the ITW Jonathan, Janet said I've not to let you have it...
-
Neil can supply paper copies, may can send you a PDF
-
Oh, your on here now Neil.....
-
Ok, Neil may be able to supply one aswell or I can make one if your stuck.
2644 dates to late 1947, 1948 commences at 2675 to 3202.

Guessing a Later MG2 or MG5 judging by the steel ID plate.
The magnetos are fairly common, I'm sure you'll have it up and running soon.
-
-
Loaded up, ready to go with the exceception of a cover.
-
I'll have to blame the smoke from mine on your pipe and the ST Bruno now Jonathan!
-
Very nice, I'm sure it's comfier than the cushion.
-
-
I must have made a good job of putting them back together....
-
Thanks all, it is a long way however it's once in a lifetime and I don't think I'll be down again, with a tractor anyway. It will be a good opertunity to meet everyone I talk to but have never met.
Hopefully the sat nav guides me well and past the M6 toll.

Originally thought 6.30 on the Friday but would I would hit traffic around Birmingham?
-
Looking for some advice from you more well traveled folks! What is the best time to leave for Malven on the choosen route so I've got a clear drive down with no congestion?
Was debating leaving at midnight Thursday and getting down to Malvern at 6.30/7Am Friday ?
-
You would think you would have plenty time to correct any mistakes with it going so slow!
-
Maybe, although I'm not sure my mum would approve of it hanging from the kitchen ceiling!
-
Seen this that a local guy made, thought it was pretty cool.
-
Imagine driving it about in an enclosed pit.
-
I'm saying nothing about me trying to demolish his top garage with the skimmer.
You didn't crash it did you Norm?
-
The other skimmer chassis has had the sides cut away the same so looks as if it may be an original modification.
-
Was good to see you Jonathan, bacon sarnies were great too!
I'd rather be re assembling the brakes on an MG than watch Scotland loose to Wales!
-
Pity you didn't find it sooner Jonathan...
The cable will be be solid is it, I wonder if it's like what outboard motors use to steer? You could maybe cut one down.

Remember the little square raised blocks for the engine mounting, when replacing the floor.
