factory got a reaction from pmackellow in O&R ORline Air Compressor (Compressor made by W.R. Brown)
Interesting the base plate you have seems to be identical to the one used for the O&R version, even has the two extra holes for the vertical plate that the O&R engine attaches to, see post #12 in the this thread.

Well the bearings listed are the same for the Type 185 (chainsaw) and the early Type H, both use a pair of A-27-1 (single) bearings.
The early Model H uses gears type A-62-2 (driven) & A-62-4 (pinion/clutch drum), both are still listed in the 1971 parts list.
    The Type 216 & 195 both use later gears of type A-62-14 (driven 66 tooth) & A-62-20 (pinion/clutch drum).

There are different part numbers for the gear-case halves.
The differences may be the taper & how far it the shaft sticks out once assembled, you may have to experiment and probably source or make a matching shaft extension for the taper if it needs one.

Looking through the information I got from @Webhead I can confirm the military version of the Kenco pump uses a Type 133 engine.

As the ePay link is now dead, here are some pictures from that listing, it was for the remains of two of these cars, some parts had been repaired and a couple of the pictures clearly showed a lot of the parts used for these.

Ah, back when MoM was first launched and before I started the O&R section. Guess I should pull it out for some pics and start a thread of it's own for reference

@viault Would it be possible to service the starter from your O&R, or is it completely missing?
If it is missing please post some more info & some pictures of the engine so we can identify the correct one needed.

That's looking very nice now, I agree it definitely looks better with both lights.

The type of gas tank depends if you look at the advert or other bikes, the advert shows the standard O&R tank but pictures of two other bikes show the slightly larger/longer tank, which might be easier to fill with gas.

This view shows two gas caps, one for sealing it for travel (probably best drained as well though) and the other with the usual vent hole? Both have a little chain attached.

It's been a long build but @CNew Clint lit a fire under my butt when he messaged me recently about some foot pegs. They were ordered and once they showed up it gave some incentive to work on the bike. Still have some stuff to do and think it may get another headlight since it does look better with the dual lights. Haven't cut the handle bars to add a spring so they fold. My father has a gas tank which is much closer to original if not the original type so that will go on once I get it.
Finally glad just to be able to post something as it's been a bit slow on the forum.

Welcome, you just need a little patience to find a suitable O&R engine, one with a reduction gearbox output of 1700RPM or less and a clutch fitted, Model H or Type 195 would be good, but for some unknown reason the 900RPM Model J is far easier to find (maybe lots of never started or completed mini-bike projects ).

You may also find the Speedy Sprayer compressor needs servicing, they have a rubber diaphragm, I don't know what the filter is made from but it would be a good idea to replace it if it's aged badly & gone crumbly like the O&R air filters do.
Here is an exploded parts drawing of one of the Speedy Sprayers from another forum:

    There was another link to a Warn blog post with the adverts for the Warn winch in this thread here;
Interesting that the boxed one shows a Cox engine instead of the O&R, I bet they hadn't noticed that.

I still need to finish putting the cutoff saw back together.  My break from the saw has been prolonged and I’ve been fixing up a vintage Raleigh Twenty 20” folding bicycle.  Picked up this cool O&R Keene pump from a local guy that does gold prospecting as a hobby.

@JUST O&R Hope all is well with the move to take care of your family. I've been through similar looking after my Mum, before it became too much for all of us & the home-care.

It's winter here too, but I need to work outside when cleaning O&R's and it's too cold or rainy at the moment, but I'm keeping busy indoors with some vintage electronic projects, the most recent is a nice late 1940's or early 1950's (not sure exactly but it contains some WWII surplus parts) GEC condenser & resistor test bridge, here it is testing one of the failed capacitors that came out of it, need to go test some O&R condensers & coils now.

Nice find, I have one of those too, the starter spring was removed, I guess they broke it & never got round to fixing it. The seller also had the matching sluice box but sold it separately.

I think most of these suffer from problems with the plastic impeller.

A new addition to my collection is this TAS drill which was a Christmas present, the engine is a TAS motor P7 but the starter looks a little different from the other two drills on here, possibly a later version?

Both supplied by Orline products, I guess these would match the pictures in the articles (neither are mine).

I made an aluminum base plate based on DustyB's picture provided. Thanks again DustyB!  I used an old scrap speed limit sign I had and cut it out of that.  Believe it or not, I was able to find locally, NOS 10-32 Palnuts.  It was an all or none purchase so now I have around 80-100 of these...   I was not able to find any feet that were close to original so I decided to use what I had, and since I have extra Palnuts,  I used them as fasteners on the feet as well. Not correct as original, but it all matches nicely and I think it looks good...

They are of interest because they contain small articles on the Otline model 249 hedge trimmer and the Amp Champ generator.
