Thanks for the positive comments guys! Hopefully one day I will get to show some of my machinery, it is really something id like to do!

Hi Richard,
Sorry I don't have any manuals for these but I am quite familiar with these machines, I had around 3 at one point but have since sold them all. They are good little machines and will handle rough grass fairly easily with sharp blades. If you need any help just give me a shout and I can do my best to help you!

Awesome pictures! My favourite pictures are the ones where a tractor is working, they're just great.

Thank you, it's a nice feeling to think that you have saved a piece of history from rusting to nothing(which by the looks of things was what was going to happen to it!)
Thanks Ian, it's a great little machine, it's ever so simple to work but quite an animal once it gets going!
Thank you very much Neil although I am far from it!
Thanks Mark, it's actually a very nice red, maybe I should have painted my 856 with it, hmm! I may have to repaint one of my other horses with it,!

Hi all,
Just thought I'd share my barford atom, I bought it quite a while ago and not too long ago re-painted it. I actually bought a mower off of the bay of E and when I collected it they asked if I'd be interested in a walk-behind tractor, so I went and looked at it and ended up buying it at what I thought was a very good price. This was as I bought it:
It came with a villiers engine which didn't run, it also came with a plough, cultivator, crumbler and wheel weights. I took it apart and was left with this:
I ended up hand painting this one use Crown paint, I used flame red which turned out to be a very nice red.
I then started to reassemble it.
I had a pretty new 8hp briggs sitting at home unused so decided to put this on it while I got the villiers running.
I then painted the plough and had a play with it.
Since then I've only really played with it and it's just sat in my shed, it's nowhere near up to show standard hence why I'd like to strip it down and repaint it. I'm also hoping to start on the villiers engine soon and get that fitted, it's on the to-do list!
Thanks for looking,
Tom

I love them, how do you find the Isuzu engine? My dad drives a 1997 300tdi 90 and I couldn't fault, my dad uses it mainly for towing duties and boy does it tow well!
Some great, interseting hobbies you have guys, keep them coming, I love hearing about what other peoples hobbies are!

West ham fan you say... I'm a norwich fan!! Poor defeat the other night, but a good win for you, I'm not too sure if we will be staying up this season or not...
I have to admit I've never really been into F1, I just don't find it that interesting but each to their own! My uncle however is mad about it!

Hi all,
I just thought it would be interesting to share any other hobbies besides our vintage machinery we may have...
I myself am very much into my marine aquariums, I had one up until recently where I had to sell up due to me now having enough time to keep it running efficiently because of school which was a great downer for me as I really enjoyed watching it, I could watch it for hours and not get bored!
I am also into my landrovers, I am of course not old enough to drive but I'm always working on my dad's defender when it needs it or cleaning it for him, they are by far my favourite vehicles! In addition to this I am into my quad bikes and have around 3 of them, they are great fun and are great for pulling sleds, unfortunetly this year I haven't been able to yet!
So lets hear all of your other hobbies...!

Hi,
Very nice JD, you can't beat a nice, vintage john deere! Have you got any other information on it?
Tom

It's looking really good so far! What paint are you using on it?

Great pictures! These ploughing days/matches look like a lot of fun!

Hi,
That's a real nice GT, I'd love a tractor that size with 3 point linkage, it just looks great! The tall tires look amazing.

Hi Andy,
I look forward to seeing the video! I can imagine it's a bit unstable on rough ground but as you said it is quite low. I bet the two ton model is a beast!

Hi Andy,
Pretty sure I remember you posting the one with a JAP engine on the other forum, they are really cool! Are they hard to steer? It would be great to see a video of one is action!
