Sometime? Now all the video pressure is on you.
Looks like Terry beat my land speed record so I'll get the bike tuned for the street and give it another go this weekend

I hate to put fuel in it because I will have to take the carb back off and clean it . but its on like donkey Kong now !!!!
Need to figure out how to put seat belts on her and away will go.

OK, went for the crazy daredevil ride of a lifetime. Check out the risky off roading over the grass!
Youtube was a pita so shortened it to copy directly. Hopefully you guys can view the video but let me know if you can't.
Just threw some stuff on it so I could ride it and thought it would be funny. Still have lots to do but doubtful I'll ride it after it's done and painted.
Now it's Terry's turn for that skateboard

Had some traction issue with the friction wheel. I'll figure out how to crank that down so it bites into the tire better. You can see it peeling the tire in the pic with all that black on the frame.

I thought I showed you how to fix those old bent up tanks. You need to pay attention .
You need to save that you can or are you a parts changer

Something more like this then, add one of those Turbair bottles & it can do the crop spraying too.

Wallfish reacted to factory in Regina Champ generator Model No. 110
I've just refilled the box with the next project, will start a new thread for it, hopefully it won't take as long as this one did.

NICE! Much better than a bunch of parts sitting in a box
Glad to see you back in the restoration game

Wallfish got a reaction from factory in Advanced engine products fan
Thanks Chuck!
The fan arrived so once time allows it will get cleaned up, refreshed and an engine rebuild. The paint is in decent condition except for the handle so it should clean up nicely. The tank is heavily damaged so that will need to be replaced. There's no signs of an old and or missing throttle control like the one Clint has on his.

Today's progress, the starter was in very good condition apart from a broken screw for the cylinder baffle plate, which soon got removed with the help of the Dremel cutting disc to add a slot.
Also rebuilt the carb & cleaned out the air cleaner today, I still need to order some smaller HT lead to repair the coil & find a tank, but hopefully I'll get the rest of this one finished tomorrow.

Wallfish reacted to factory in Nichols model d set. # 6369
Thank you to Terry @JUST O&R for scanning the manual for the Nichols generator Model D, it has now been added to the manuals sticky thread.
It reveals the purpose of what looked like a glass lamp inside (found by @Wallfish in the Creme Lure generator refresh thread), it's actually an overload protection thermostat.

You can soak that head in a can of carb cleaner to remove the paint. Just let it soak for a while, use a stiff bristle brush and re-soak if it still needs it.
