  1. Your welcome Paul, I really enjoyed it.. It was good to meet up and have a chat with everyone again, the breakfast was quite nice as well
  2. Could you not put it on a trailer behind a Wheel Horse to bring it to the show? Ok, the top speed may be the same but the Wheel Horse will be a more comfy drive
  3. A great looking machine, but we need to see and more importantly hear a video of it in action
  4. Thanks Guy's, it's a shame I don't have the dies as it can't have much value without them.. Saying that, there's always a chance that someone still has the dies but has lost the "machine" bit.... You never know

    Howard 200

A beautiful restoration job there I did for a very short while (maybe even as little as a week!) have a Howard Gem.. I never had it running, just remember it as a beast of a machine to move about!
  6. Almost there now Mark.... I hope you have a beer pump set up inside to go with that cask
  7. Morning chap's, a little late getting getting my photo's up.. As all the machine have been covered in other photo's, here's only a few.. The old looking.. The new looking.. And the new but old looking Thanks guy's n girls for making it a very pleasant relaxed Sunday.. Some people found it very relaxing As we were at a preserved railway line, it's only right I should post a few train-ish pictures
  8. A nice little build Daniel, knowing your taste in cars I'm a little surprised you haven't squeezed a Rover V8 under the bonnet
  9. It was great to catch up with you all again this morning. A beautiful day, great company, a good selection of machines and a fried breakfast.. A fantastic day. Thanks guy's 'n' girls.. Did anyone take any photo's of the steam loco? I forgot to!
  10. Hi Michael, long time no see... That's my kind of Cat, big enough to look mean but not too big As Nigel mentioned it would be great to see it (and you )at Tractorfest http://myoldmachine.com/topic/157-biddenden-tractorfest-2014/
  11. Spot on Koen, thanks for that.. Just googled the above and that indeed is what it is It's only taken more than 8 years to work it out
  12. It looks like you have a big vat of rust soup there Matt.. Best served with croutons and bit's of crispy fried bacon
  13. Thanks Neil. It was quite fun working it all out only using a GT 3 point PDF for reference The 3 point is a Cat 1, which make it easier finding stuff to fit... I'm going to make what I need of course, first on the list are some pallet forks And yes, those ball hitches do hurt
  14. Thanks Neil, I love the sound of the engines too... A Kohler twin be it roaring away or just burbling while ticking over is pure music to the ears If we had of had a chain with us then the 312 would of been towed out.. Hhhmm maybe that's a good idea for a video.. "6X6 rescue" A drive around the fields in search of stuck Wheel Horses
  15. See you all there later Guy's, it's a beautiful day for it

    PRESIDENT

Your doing a fantastic restoration job Paul, she has come along way since your "as found" photo
  17. It would have to be a very small bore pipe to fit in what I presume is the "object grip bit".. I always try to use the correct terminology you see I did maybe think a drill bit sharpener, and it's missing a strange shaped grinding wheel??
  18. A nice looking chainsaw Richard, but I will admit I try to stay away from them.. They scare the **** out of me!
  19. I now have long tailed tits building a nest in the bush behind the shack, it's great to watch them flying back and forth with bit's of grass and feathers for lining the nest. They don't seam to mind people and will often fly within 3 feet of me..
  20. A great find Tom, yep keep her in her original clothes, they suit her You however now got me wonder how easy it would be to fit one of the "scythe attachments" to one of my Wheel Horse
  21. Thanks Mark. I think it may well of gone over if it hadn't been for the tyre sidewalls being stopped by the edge of the trench

    Wheel Horse GT-14+2

Yes the 312 might of ended up in a bit of a trench in the field
  23. This was given to me years ago my a Gent who also didn't know what it was but thought it would look good as decoration in my shack.. Top bloke I have never been able to find out what it is, no clues on the internet! The winding wheel goes round and also slides on the shaft. Something should be screwed on the end of the shaft though I've no idea what... and something clamps into the other end.. It was originally painted black but I think I may of had a can of red oxide in my hand one day Anyone have any ideas what this thing is for?
  24. A little too far away from me I'm afraid Tom.
