Here's an image that I like... an explanatory one, if I could understand it that is.....

Hi Matt, C'mon, I'm not the only President guy around here....... and of course there's loads and loads of other machinery discussed. Maybe we should of course add the Plowmate/Hoemate & Cultmate .. yes? Titch
  3. Yes, sadly sold on, I've had a few over the years, mostly on LPG conversions. My favourite was a 1989 one.. I still liked them better than P38's though!... Mind you, there's a soft spot for me with either a GT6 or TR6...
  4. That's it Richard, at first glance I thought that it was a very very clean & tidy workshop! Water Slides Neil, no I'm afraid not. The materials available in modern times are sadly no where near how they used to be, very delicate and tricky too, plus there's a problem often when requiring the colour white. My equivalent is onto clear vinyl, however, I do appreciate that water slide definitely has it's place and wouldn't try to say mine are better. But, a free sample could be made available if you wished to have a look! Titch
  5. Well, actually, given a dimension of the area that a specific logo or writing has to go in, basically I 'squash it in' to suit so long as it's proportional. I print this sort of thing on clear most commonly and can do white as well as any other colour, spot colours, so the model makers love me!! Here's another model of sorts, I made a stencil for the chap to paint through, the Gold. Then when it was all dried he freehand made the shadow colour by following the letters contours ... nice! He said it was the most important part of his build, but I rather think that my contribution was so little considering the whole machine, BEAUTIFUL comes to mind. All pressure tested & working too, can you gat an idea of the size of it ... there's a clue there. Titch
  6. Yes Ian, the time he took to get scales accurate on my President one was unbelievable. And the Bamford Wuffler as all you see here, when I made the decals for them, I just scaled down widths for example at first then proportionally the heights were exactly right!! 100% accurate. Obviously he wanted it right and they really are good. The tines turn on both the Wuffler & the Jones tedders on the PTO shafts too. He does a few TONKA toy ones now, well, refurbs them not scratch builds of course and I've done loads of decals for them too, I'll find some pictures later today.... must get some work done now! Titch
  7. That's the other one Neil yes. The Orange is based on an Automatic Mini, The Crème Egg on a Bedford Rascal and there was the Birds Eye Pea, again I believe on a Mini car. Clever AND expensive advertising eh??
  8. I'm orf to bed now folks, been here in office since 6.30 am again.... at my age too, ridiculous! Thanks for the comments folks, Titch
  9. 'Stickers' are good too aren't they?? Quite small sometimes too! All models shown actually operate too!
  10. Neil, it's BMB not BMP, you'll get me locked up if you get another letter wrong!! Not a moan.. just an observation BMB stands for British Motor Boats in fact, but the tractors manufacturers were Brockhouse Engineering, there's a Google search to try, but keep away from Wikipedia.... It's all lies....
  11. Yes, brilliant he is, but sadly, health problems have caused him to no longer be able to.. I've often said that I wish we'd met 30 years ago!! I'd have been his agent!! He's done loads & loads of Agri related things, I'm very proud to have a few of them too,... quite unique!!

Ah, I did get that wrong before, I had the logbook actually and it is STILL in his fathers name.. he, the son aged high 70's now, hadn't seen it since 1957!! and to see the look on his face, especially seeing his own fathers name on it,.. well.. eeeemotions or what!! Here's a picture of him, the son, on the President when he was about 16, also unknown to him, one of the same series of photo's in an adjoining field, is actually in the book Bill Mills & Joe Paget wrote on the President story.. and he never even knew about it!!!! Where's the bloody hanky........ Titch
  13. It's about 8" long from drawbar to end. I do a lot for this chap, customer come friend now, and was very proud when he made the 'Red' one for me!
  14. I lettered this up for a friend last year, talk about dimples on the surface though!!! I believe only 7 made, maybe just 3 left now including this one.

Sorry folks, But I just like my boys a lot!! And they are Red after all
  16. Slip a picture of something red in Kevin, Red is well appreciated on here....
  17. ONE??? Be honest John, you are fluent in German, probably have their eBay on your desktop and plan taking an Tractor Unit & trailer out there empty, coming back full of Yellow related machinery! I admire your interest in these 'Elf's' as they are quite unique here yet with such a well known name adorning the bonnet. Keep at them, until there's non left for me! Glad you have come here to see all that's going on. Titch
  18. Hi Folks, hoping to get this together a bit, not aiming to have a 'Rally' or show as such, but we do aim to have some things 'going on' It will probably be a first ever in the world so to use Presidential sort, it could be very interesting & informative! I'm just hoping to spread the word....
  19. Hi folks, thanks for the comments. But these are just my initial ideas, I'm sure there's others out there. I would say though, that I think landscape suits the forum header best, what's a 'Skin' though folks?? I'm a bit older fashioned/traditional in my thoughts and therefore a bit behind the door with some terminology ... We then have to consider what other applications a 'logo' would or could be used for. Embroidery etc as 'patches' for sewing on overalls? Caps etc?? The more simple the design the easier and cheaper to set up and I think landscape suits the intention best. I have contacts in the embroidery job for this if need, related to my work of course. IF it's something I could help with, then it would need to be in a format that my machines operate in though. Also, Colours??? Maybe I'm fond of traditional British colours with my Cream & Greens etc, again, this is just my initial ideas. Please see that I'm not trying to 'sell' myself here, but real keen to help if I can, honestly! My personal opinion is A or C as they seem to catch the eye apon a quick look at the page layout.. but ... they are just some ideas.. I could do more this evening possibly if anyone wishes that I try. Of course, more folk will not be on the computers today, we may well yet receive some more ideas during the evenings. Right, I must go now ... more projects to set up.... Titch
  20. I've just got to say that Kevin's work absolutely amazes me, always has and always will, I just wish I had the time, but moreso probably the patience AND skills! We need to see more Kevin please! I'm very proud indeed to have my work on Kevins work too! Incidentally, how complete it is I'm unsure, but I know of an Atco Standard in a shed ... anyone interested?? Titch
  21. O' Eck Mark, I can't bake unless it's in a tin!! Here's a few ideas folks, but I must crack on with some other work now for a few hours ... just some ideas to ponder on!
  22. Hi Folks, I'd like to offer to try something here and what I will also offer is some 'freebie' small stickers for us to put onto vans/toolboxes etc etc if that helps. I'd supply say 100 free of charge on the lines of say 5" x 2" .. any thoughts on this. For example though, my work is generally in Spot Colours, so the modern day common use of faded & graduated colours isn't so easy on my machines, I'm not a user of the modern ink printing systems, nor ever ever will be, and that is inevitably how modern work is produced. Like the mirrored in water effect and the shining star on the existing header .. I'd have to reproduce that as spot - solid colours. If Nylyon you could email me that pdf I'll have a go at it, happily, or is there a bit of a 'free hand' if need... Again, if I can help with promoting the website/forum, I am more than happy to! Titch
