Dark Side of The Moon
I'm afraid anything 80's onwards doesn't even get a shot here!!
-
Very Very nice,
A restoration is of course maintenance too, giving it a whole new lease of life.
Looks Fantastic!

That's the way to do it!!
I own a considerable amount of domains for that very reason..Google Searches does the rest.
For here, Old Machine will get you there in no time at all, you wait & see!

At one time, I think it was generally considered that a .com for us in UK was an abroad domain, not just the USA, anywhere abroad in the WORLD In fact, often when searching on Google for example, I would avoid a .com at one time.....
However, .coms are considered to be 'easier & quicker' to type in & search therefore far better, a .com commands a higher price for the domain too of course.
I don't think these days it would matter at all, BUT, if you had the .co.uk as well as .com after my old machine, the searches could be linked, no one would know if it ended up on myoldmachine .com or whatever... but it would certainly attract more searches getting to the site... but, at a price of course.. unless of course you hold the domain already.....
But to me, yes, .com is perfectly useable.
Like your thinking Karl.

Snow??
It only looks nice on Christmas cards in my book!!
I'll find some pictures later where it drifted over the top of our single track lane and froze!! In places it was like driving through a tunnel!! That was a -16 recorded 2 years ago.. to me, that WAS cold!
-
My T140 was a bit of a special too, Lester Alloys/Bates lights/Extended forks/US Export Tank bbrrrrr.. it's bringing back memories now.
It wasn't when they came out I had it you must understand, I'm a trifle too young for that.
We used to herd up cattle on a BSA C15 too, then progressed to Husky & Maico's but they were just far too highly strung. The cattle absolutely hated them and it just became impossible, let alone not good for the beasts!
Using little two stroke mopeds was no good either, the cattle thought it was Gad bees swarming & run around like possessed lunatics with their tails in the air... ah memories.........
-
I'll bet they know of each other then Stormin'
Yep, such a distinctive sound, TS2 & 3 was it??
-
Awesome purpose made serious capable kit!
I was very fortunate, and indeed quite proud a week ago, to be in the presence of probably more than 25 County Conversions at a collectors property... That was quite possibly one of my own personal highlights of the decade... for obvious reasons no names mentioned, but I felt highly honoured to be there!
-
You've just Got to take yer hat off!!!
-
Ahhh Neil, breaking my heart there.. the Triumph T140...... THE one I should never have sold... I'm gonna weep now, I can feel it........................
-
Karl,
these guys are fanatical, believe me, Commers were the family main marque, but Fords are loved too!!
Bloody good friends of mine!!
-
And yes, one did swim the Channel!!!!
Sea Horse, a yellow one.. anyone remember it??
Like This..............
-
Believe it or not, a President would have waded through that effortlessly, having said that, it wouldn't pull anything through behind it!!
Sadly, it's a common sight at the moment though...
-
OOhhh I don't think they'd use it for that Paul, mind you, there's a Commer 2 Stroke ex Fire Engine beavertail that can do that job there!!
-
A very good pal of mine with one of his many show winners!!!
Then in the 50's, at the same Mill, no doubt this would have been the look of things!
-
For us anyway, not so much like the kit they use in the USA on the odd few thousand miles across the plains.
County tractors still to date create massive interest over here, especially in Forestry work. I have quite a few friends with County & Roadless too... it's all about Traction!!
-
Indeed I'm sure John,... would you want my flu bug though.............................. Bah!...............
-
Yes,
a credit to you for all the right reasons.
I did know someone here in the UK with similar, but not with a black chassis (frame?) I don't think .... grey possibly?
But yes,
Very very nice work there!
-
You sent me this shot Kevin, remember seeing it an a Calendar....?
I think it was this one.. either way, all brilliance I say!
-
Getting There!
And then from 1952, 12 months after it was first sold to a farm no more than 30 miles from where it is now!!
-
Still Enjoying remembering this
-
Not Quite in the correct order, but I think you'll sort it.
-
Maybe I should have treated my XJR13 to the way you have...... darn it, I knew I shouldn't have sold it now!!!
All very Good!
-
I've had another play this morning, but unsure if the 'header' idea is universal.. I guess we have to consider other applications sometime too.....
