vegikev reacted to the showman in Ardingly Autumn Show and Game Fair
Just had an enjoyable 3 days at this show, had a bit of rain on Saturday but Sunday was sunny and warm and packed with people.
Heres a few photos of stuff I liked from cars with big engines to tractors with big engines

vegikev reacted to pmackellow in Gardenmaster 34... a bargain !!
Wendy and I went into Hampshire this morning along the scenic A272 to collect this little machine that I had won on that well know auction site
Its a Landmaster Gardenmaster 34, not quite complete but with lots of bits including a direct plug in Tarpen drive (hadn't got one of them)
plus a pair of tines, a spin weeder, a stand for when the machine is running a drive unit, another drive head and two tine covers
There was another Tarpen shaft drive hedge cutter as well
Not bad for £5.50 !!

vegikev reacted to Kenmof2000 in villiers midget engine
The guy I picked my Merlin up from today showed me an old Villiers engine driving a water pump, he said it does run but wasn't my thing so declined, if you like I can pass you his e-mail and you can contact him - I believe he will be putting it on that auction site in the near future???
he is just off the A1 at Richmond, North Yorkshire

Hi All,
Picked this up today from yes you've guessed it. That same old barn.
I have looked on the auction site and found one which says it is a Horace Fuller Ltd of Horsham, Sussex about a hour and a half away from me.
Does anyone have any info on it ?
Paul

Hi Guy's, sorry I've been a bit slow getting the Tractorfest videos sorted.. But a start has been made.. So I don't upset my ISP by using too much bandwidth I can only upload 1 video a day..
So here's the first, Day one in the arena.. Thank you to Ben for the camera duties

Hi Kev, this years show may of been quite a challenge for you, but you certainly rose to the challenge
It was a fantastic weekend, roll on next years show
A bigger working area sounds great (don't forget to fill Noddy's tank up Nigel ), if all goes well I hope to have another go at ploughing without breaking anything

Nigel and Noddy ploughing. This was Nigel's first time ploughing, by the end of the weekend he had it down to a fine art.
well done to nigel and the "noddy" holder, its supprising what you can get out of a tank of diesel and a jar of nescafe!! :D

If at first you don't succeed in starting your Merlin..
Try Try again..
Until finally
A few displays.
Veg anyone?
A fine selection..
Back in the working area the race was on!!
Until a flying cup gave Steve the advantage..
And he crossed the end of the ploughing line first
And then did a victory lap row
More to come later.

Evening all, what a busy, hectic and fantastic weekend Tractorfest has been.. It has left me feeling shattered but I can't wait for next years show
Anyway, my brain has been awake enough today to grab a few stills from my video footage for you all, I might of got a little carried away
So let's start with Kev and his finger chasing a water leak on the Weeks..
One of those "Gulp" moments as I do my first ever talk over a PA system to the crowds!
While the Showman ran off and hid from the microphone
Steve made a valiant start on turning the soil in the working area with the Jobber..
But due to the show only being on for 2 days the reinforcements were called in
Nigel and Noddy ploughing. This was Nigel's first time ploughing, by the end of the weekend he had it down to a fine art.
Chris on his Trachorse doing a bit of leveling..
But even though he tried he didn't manage to bury the cameraman
A Colbey doing it's soil turning stuff.
I can't remember this chaps name (sorry of your reading this ), but he is a top chap, always willing to help and give advice about ploughing etc
And this photo just because I like it..
Stay tuned as there is loads more to come.... I did say I got a little carried away grabbing screen shots

vegikev reacted to the showman in Pam's New Gazebo Arrive's
Whilst at Seddlescombe our gazebo broke and I thought I would buy a new one as a surprize for Pam.
Well, she was all excited when the delivery man dropped it off and everything went well until I got it out of the box
then she started, to big, wrong colour, there's just no pleasing some people
