Brilliant job done George, if i could get mine half as straight I'd be well pleased.
top marks mate.
-
Looks good, well done all involved.
-
Looking good Richard, nice when new bits arrive.
-
Many happy returns of the day, hope you have a good one.
-
Nothing moves in or out of my van now without a winch cable attached, might not be so lucky next time.
its embarrassing too, there's always people watching at shows
-
I had a similar thing happen, i use to let the tractors idle and drive themselves in and out of the van until i was at a show unloading the rowcrop. It decided to kick the ramp out and being a trike fell on its side still running. It scratched all the bonnet and bent the exhaust and footrest.
after the show i was loading back up and exactly the same thing happened lucky i was standing the right side on both occasions.
ive loaded and unloaded dozens of times and never had a problem till then. Thats when I bought new ramps and a power in and out winch

I use ebay a lot, but Hugh Page at Heathfield are very helpful
-
Welcome to the forum John, always pleased to see another wheelhorse owner ( ive got the odd one or two ).
i see the boys have answered your questions but keep us posted with your progress
-
Well supported show with a lot going on, unusual to see an engine driving a lathe.
thanks for the photos

Spent the weekend at Ardingly, heavy rain on Saturday but quite busy and Sunday was bright and sunny.
A good selection in the vintage section so here's a few photos
-
I wandered that Norm, can't find any makers name on them yet maybe on the rim under the tyre
-
Bit of a shot in the dark but does anyone recognise these wheels.
i found them in a loft of a barn and liked the look of them, their alloy and 3.50 x12, thinking of putting them on the front of a wheelhorse with tri-ribs.
started cleaning one up and they will look ok I think

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, , happy birthday dear Norm, happy birthday to you, ,
Hope you have a good day mate,
-
Looking good Rex, made a good job of the bonnet.
-
I will for sure Norm, I'm going to take an extra tractor
-
I shall be at this show at the weekend ( October 1 / 2 ).
Judging by the horticultural support I got at Kingsfold I will be the only exhibit in the section
-
I like the " scope on a rope " I could do with one of those
-
Just received the club magazine, here's a picture
-
I shall be there Richard running the section, come and find me and i'll put the kettle on
-
I'm making a new frame to make it more user friendly and to fit in the van
-
Although this is on a back burner at the moment i came across a couple of bearings at Johns that just happened to be the right size for the axle.
ive already got a stock of box section so just need to make some time to cut and weld up a new frame
-
Ha ha, that would confuse the postman and thats not hard to do .
-

Interesting brochure some photos for our Australian friends aswell

Whilst at my usual place on a Tuesday we found a box of the old black number plate letters,
