I did the first coat this morning before I went towing and did the second coat about 6 so ive put it all in the shed to dry.
i'll do some in the morning if I have time as i'm out towing all day tomorrow

Done a bit more today, the floor boards are all cut to size , planed and sanded and had 2 coats of Danish oil

They've had a second coat of red now, just the white to do

Looks good now, worth the extra work to get that finish.

I guess so Norm, thats just one heavy coat it says 6 hours between coats on the tin. I'll give it another coat later

Looks like a commando 7 or 8, but has the wrong engine ,no belt guard and the rear fender has been lifted up to clear the oversize tyres. has the bonnet been hacked about where the fuel tank filler is sticking out ?

Got to sand it down and oil it before i fix it down ,but I think it's going to look ok

Done a little more today and cut all the wood to size

It was packed out Paul, spose to finish at 5 but had to wait another 1/2 an hour for the public to get out
