Looking good Noel, nice when you start painting the red bits
-
Sorry Alain, its gonna be Wheelhorse red with white wheels not sure about the wood yet
-
No problem Noel, I'll do you some detail photos when i get it back from the shot blasters.
Its loaded in the van at the moment and hard to photograph
-
I do have another one Ian almost the same except a foot longer
-
No its not, ive got a load of galvinized angle iron to use up
-
Thanks Norm, just checking
-
I was looking at the drawbar today and thought it looked a bit kac and bent so made a new one.
-
Hope you don't mind me asking George, I noticed that your ploughs are painted on the face is that not so important as a single furrow plough as i was told not to paint it and leave it shiny
-
Cool vid Ian, looking good
-
Nice job James, gonna look beautiful with the tyres fitted
-
Out in the sunshine yesterday i got a bit carried away, so i guess this is my next project.
Next thing is to make a new drawbar and strip the wheels and get it blasted
-
Back in June last year I pulled this trailer out of a barn at Johns. Not sure how long it had been in there but it was buried under a pile of stuff and had 4 Knackerd tyres.
I got it home and fitted 4 new tyres and exhibited at a few shows through the summer behind the Wheelhorse.
-
Cant you see its two different tractors
-
Thanks for the photos George I understand what your saying about the width, i'll have a go at making the frame over the weekend and will post photos as I go
-
You lost me when you got to scanner Kev, i'll just fill it in and drop it in the post, i'll bring the same as last year. awning display and 3 tractors and a few attachments
-
They look better, stuff always looks nice when back from the blasters
-
I can see the entry form but it wont let me fill it in, back to plan A ,,,,,who's nicked my pen
-
Did a little bit today and made the mounting rod so they both have the same fixing, its just a length of 3/4 rod with a bit of flat steel welded to it
-
Happy birthday mate, hope you have a good day with lots to drink and a big cake
-
Thanks for the info George, I'll make up a triangle frame so that i can adjust the width and make a bracket to fit a middle one if needed
-
Using the ridgers sounds almost as complicated as using a plough and I'm still trying to get my head round that
-
Thats good news Kev, saves me a stamp.
Next time your down the site can you throw some spuds in the working area, Ive got a lifter now and want to try it out, lol
-
Yes Norm, that one is from a Planet jr the other two are from a Howard I think.
Makes a lot of sense what Henry said, i'll put 2 on a frame and see what happens
-
Thanks for the info, i did wonder if 3 was to many behind a ride on
-
It goes straight in the slot hitch Norm
