Thanks guys for your kind words, had a fun day playing with my latest haul, finished off by an evening in the pub
-
Thanks Neil, the one you got me last year only lasted for a couple of hours I'm the same age as the engine in Shak'in Horse
-
I'm loving that , how much mess would that make on the lawn and patio, don't think I would be Mr popular.
At least the Trachorse has rubber tracks
-
-
It was dark green with black wheels
-
If I restored it Norm it will be red with off white wheels and varnished wood
-
I'm a bit stumped now, i was going to restore it and lower it to carry the Trachorse make like a low loader type 4 wheeler now I'm thinking to leave it as is. The only problem is where I live here on the coast it will deteriorate quick as there's very little paint on it
-
Its meger heavy, i think if i put it on Wheelhorse ill have to fit wheelie bars
-
Thats nice Neil, well done on that haul
-
Can't remember Alan, have to have a look Tuesday
-
Ive got plenty Chris, just trying to match them up
-
Just had a look in one of my other sheds and found some more tyres, now I've got 2 pairs, the AGs can go on the back and the other pair on the front
-
Or her bottle collection that seems to be growing daily
-
Trachorse on the trailer towed by the Rowcrop
-
I'm thinking the Trachorse
-
Been after one of these for a while and was lucky enough to find this on my latest haul.
Its made by W D Stubbs of Nottingham who are still in business making carts and trailers, it measures 5 foot x 2' 6" and has lift out sides, ive spent a bit of time on it today and got the wheels to go round and the turn table to work, it needs 4 tyres and tubes, it has 1" axles so a bit restricted on swapping wheels.
The wheels are 8" and the tyres are marked 14x3 , ive got a few 400x8 but all different tread patterns.
Anyway heres some photos

Plant pots ? you've got her attention again Alan, spose i'll have to bring her up again, bugger

While i was out rummaging through tractor stuff i was talked into taking some milk bottles as a peace offering for Pam.
