the showman reacted to Ian in Project "Why Not"
Thanks Charlie, t will take a while yet until it's finished.. But it will be worth the wait
A bit more progress today with one of the front wheels almost finished..
Two new wheel centers, can you spot which one is finished?
It slots into the wheel like so from the inside.
And looks like this from the outside..
A close up for you.. I couldn't be happier with the fit
I need to grind a V shape into the two parts of the wheel to give me something to fill full of weld.. Once the weld is cleaned back you won't know it's not original.. Until you look at the inside of course
The wheel is a nice tight fit on the wheel hub..
I have also been thinking about the front brakes.. There is just enough room to get a Kwakasaki Gpz 305 caliper and a small brake disc inside the wheel, though I have a feeling I might need to make my own brake discs!! Has anyone ever tried it and did they work?

the showman got a reaction from pmackellow in Martin Markham Colt Deluxe
Looks a nice bit of kit Paul, easy engine to work on, what's your plan with it ? Wipe over with an oily rag if it were mine,
will look forward to seeing it in the flesh, and having a drive

the showman reacted to Ian in Class Xerion 3300 VC Octopus...
I stumbled across this video while browsing YouTube and thought you all might like to see it.. It looks a bit of a handful to drive but does a great job
Lot's of other strange machinery on the Tractorspotter channel as well, like this tulip bulb harvester....

You mean one like this?
http://claz.org/classifieds/view/6eawl041zpj
I've lusted after one, but have resisted because I really don't have enough lawn or area to clear snow to make it practical.
That's a 72" mower on the front, and I think that the snow caster is 60".
They were for commercial use or for LARGE estates.

the showman got a reaction from Triumph66 in Winter Blues Gas Up
Went to a stationery engine gas-up local to me today, apart from the small engines there were a couple of big one's set up and running in the barn.
In the corner was a Kinkade garden tractor that took my eye never seen one before, had two steel wheels on the front with one having a Villiers engine inside it, it had a tool frame with all the kit, plough. tines, ridger ect.
there was even a couple of seeders hanging from the roof.
