Got a bit further this evening including some paint on the hedge trimmer...

Yes mate the lighter coloured one has an earlier version of the JAP 34 engine with different spark plug mounting and tank,it was this colour when I bought it (same as the one Steve D has done up) so that's the colour it ended up, the other two were the darker blue so they have been painted in the best match I could get.

Jobbers number 1 and 2 just about done, one more to do and then we are ready for Tractor World...

Bought and sold a lot over my 30 plus years of doing rallies, one of the machines I really regret selling is a trials spec BSA Bantam motorcycle that I acquired from a friend (swapped him another bike for it), did it all up and like a muppet I sold it for little more than what it owed me... I can see Nigels point of view that the restoration is what floats his boat rather than long term ownership, a mate of mine with vintage motorcycles has owned some for over 30 years so its horses for courses really...

So with this one and the Cub (and Stoneman Junior) you are going to be a busy bunny then !!
