Got another one of the little Sexton mowers to collect tomorrow, photos on here when we get home

I should have bought that myself, there was loads of interest in it and the auctioneer started at £100, it then shot up to £230
and then just stopped... did not have enough money on me anyway
-
Went along today for a look see, did not buy anything but stayed around to get the prices on what vintage kit
was there...
Wheelhorse GT14 - £230 (can't believe it went that cheap, Mr Showman would have had it)
Set of Ransomes Gang mowers - £60
Templar tiller with plough - £50
Norlett rotavator with implements - £40
Westwood rotavator - £15
Petrol lawn edger, no makers name on it but looked old - £12
Webb push mower - £6
JLO engine - £4

Well done indeed you must have a good display now

Welcome to the forum
There's a bit of information on the Fieldrider in the book Seventy Years of Garden Machinery, I have sent
you a private message

As I'm sure some of you know one of my larger collections is of Tarpen equipment
Tarpen made all sorts of electric and shaft drive machinery and this is one that was on my want list
It's a Tarpen Swifsure 110 volt circular saw, it looks a bit of a beast !!
The cable on it was knackered so that will be replaced in due course
-
Glad to see you found some display boards then Gareth, machine looking good as well
-
Good finds Ben, another Jobber surfaces then !!
-
Ford Fiesta was my first car
-
Hope you had a good day mate

Andrews spintrim is a smaller unit with a JAP 34cc two stroke on it, that looks a bit like the Little Wonder lawn edger that
Paul in Hampshire has got, that he posted on here a couple of days ago...
-
Sounds good Paul, looking forward to the photos !!
