Amongst the autojumble stalls at the Tinkers Park Steam Rally I found this All working with long cable, £5, its a Little Wonder hedge trimmer made in the USA and imported over here, it will look good on the 240volt Conyers generating set...

Varnish will go on the wood, just the new hubs, spare wheel and carrier and a number plate to fit and then I will have a space in my garden again !! Oh and the reflectors on the tailboard, I'll do that job tomorrow

At the weekend I received a phone call from a gent down on the South Coast at Goring by sea, he had read one of my articles in Tractor and Machinery and knew of my collection of Tarpen equipment He had a Tarpen shaft drive chainsaw, tube of grease and a drive unit for a Monro Tiller, they were mine for free if I could collect them. Collect them we duly did this evening, photos below. It does show that there are still some nice folk out there...

Tailboard on this evening, wheel loosely in place on the old hub just to get the trailer up in the air...
