Whilst perusing the autojumble at the Cuckoo Fayre at Laughton today I acquired this ATCO lawn edger for a nominal sum...

On the same stall was a hessian sack carrying the advertising of the Country Gentlemans Association (CGA), they used to publish an annual book of equipment of all shapes and size including lots of horticultural machinery... I think these sacks make a good base or backdrop to a display so this one was also purchased

Good work mate, I see the hood for the new project has arrived then !

Did you realise that if you abbreviate Project Zero Ish Turn it comes out as Project ZIT ?? Hmmmm !!!

I'm sure it won't be a blemish of any kind if done to your usual standard...

Hi there and welcome to the forum

Glad to hear someone else has got one of these machines, the wiring at the handlebar end on mine has got a bit warm at some stage in its life so I will be investigating that a bit further before I get brave and plug it in to try it !!

I can't make out the rest of the decal, I googled Ladybird mower and found some references on an Australian site, apparently they were made by a company called Metalair Ltd in the late 1940's and early fifties

As you say Chris, for £85 it's not worth faffing about, I thought a new one would be a bit more £££ than that...
