Charlie Smith 192 #1 Posted May 27, 2015 This weekend just gone I was exhibiting at Laughton Cuckoo Fayre, Over all it was a good weekend away, the weather was pretty good all 3 days, coming back with sun burn was a good sign of this this show isn't very big but it's a fair size on some, lots of arena events over the 3 days the show is active some night time entertainment in the main bar and the small bar by the lake, a fun fair, Jay Millers circus which is free entry once you've paid to get into the show, the show it's self isn't very expensive either something like £9 an adult, but £1 off with a one of there leaflets, there is a bit here for everyone really, a great auto jumble full of odds and sods, always a good bargain to be found here, models, crafts and food, collections/awning displays, bicycles, motorcycles, tractors, horticultural, steam, commercial, stationary engines classic cars and many many more exhibits, here is only a fraction of the photos of whats there. but it's something for you all to look at, I like it here, its quite laid back, there is a 4x4 mud play pen, a working field for you to go and have a play, steam working, and all sorts, If you haven't been before I'd recommend coming along for the day next year, or even exhibiting! the horticultural section does need to grow a little....... they also hold a show at the same showground in September the one in May personally is the better of the two, but that's just my opinion, anyway that's enough, here is what you really want! always makes a nice picture, the Native Americans Village by the pond Tyler having a good old look something I hadn't seen before Now this!..... What a Van! not one bit wasn't customized, even the dip stick etc, everything was chrome and custom, ratchet spanners as handles! WOW! more to follow! I think that's a Bedford J Type Pick Up! the trucks and lorrys back then had so much more style and characteristics then the boring ones of today that all share the same running gear!
