Alan 1,273 #1 Posted October 6, 2015 Another visit from the Showman today, helping to move a large pile of scrap wood and metal resulted in another find. Well two to be exact. The main purpose of the move was to try and find the missing Bolens loader forks. Still not found though. After getting wet again, all part of the fun, Chris found these two items not long before we packed up for the day. Made by Allen, Oxford. Green paint similar to Allen Scythes. Is this a spray unit. ? and does it attach to a Scythe. The other find was a Teagle hedge trimmer. Engine turns and whole unit looks fairly complete. I was surprised how heavy this is. Wouldn't like to operate it for too long. Photo's could have been better. Taken in shed with poor light and rain outside. 3 Stormin, Triumph66 and HeadExam reacted to this

the showman 4,074 #4 Posted October 7, 2015 It just goes to show that there is still stuff turning up even after all this time, there was also a few old mowers including a petrol driven, a battery driven and an electric one, a few old car parts and boxes of old damp magazines. It was a really wet day but we managed a bit more progress I think 1 nigel reacted to this
Alan 1,273 #5 Posted October 7, 2015 I don't know what Chris will do to keep himself occupied when we finally run out of things to find. And I hope Pam liked the "present" he took home for her. If not it would have made his ears ring if she clonked him with it. Thanks again Chris. 2 the showman and Triumph66 reacted to this
