Alan 1,273 #1 Posted January 27, 2016 Another item found weeks ago while clearing John's barn. We have picked it up, puzzled over it, scratched our heads and put it down again numerous times. Someone will hopefully have an answer. 8" long and the only marking is No 2 on the handle. As can be seen on the photo's, I hope, sliding the central bar forward opens out the end of the side arms slightly which are closed again via the spring when the bar is retracted. Hazet tools are still in existence with a lot of special valve related tools for current vehicles but I can't see the collet tool in the on-line listings. I've never seen another in anyone's tool collection. I bought mine in the late 70s from a catalogue company called Gerald Staines of Ross on Wye who also did workshop assortment boxes , split pins etc under the brand name of Nubo .
