moogie 372 #1 Posted April 6, 2016 What parts are hard to get in the UK ? I already know that the rubber gear stick boots and Raider headlight lens are hard to get here. I have a trip to Florida coming up soon and plan to get a few parts to put in my suit case for the trip home. Much cheaper than paying the postage. 1 Triumph66 reacted to this

Stormin 4,458 #4 Posted April 6, 2016 You taking orders, Moogie. I'd say carb, fuel pump, engine gasket set would be handy to fetch back.
C-101plowerpower 548 #5 Posted April 7, 2016 gearshift boots can be bought at any toro dealer, just give them the part number. as for other parts, wheel weights are kinda hard to get
Stormin 4,458 #6 Posted April 7, 2016 I can see a set of wheel weights as hand luggage. 1 moogie reacted to this

Wristpin 400 #10 Posted April 12, 2016 Can you post an image of the switch, someone might recognise it as a cheaper proprietary item used by another OEM . Some years ago I had a case where a VW switch was £120 and the same Bosch switch from a Ford dealer was £38.
meadowfield 1,900 #11 Posted April 12, 2016 I know the switch, I've had two self destruct with rust! I found it easier to link the four wires out... 1 morphemus reacted to this

Is there a clue in "the four wires" ?. By any chance is it two switches in one, one breaks when the other makes? There was one like that on the blade engagement lever of the Lawnflite 600 series of the mid to late eighties. 725-0803
morphemus 3 #15 Posted April 14, 2016 I'm not sure there Wristpin all i know is when the PTO is engaged you can't get off without it shutting off the motor so it must talk to the switch under the seat thats two wires and possibly earth through its self sorry not sure
Stormin 4,458 #16 Posted April 14, 2016 Two wires to each switch. Just join the two off each switch together. 1 morphemus reacted to this
meadowfield 1,900 #17 Posted April 14, 2016 Norm is right, two small wires with male spades. Then just link the plug across. 1 morphemus reacted to this
