the showman 4,074 #1 Posted May 5, 2020 After finishing Bill & Ben Pam’s been on about her list so thought I’d do a few bits. We had some gate post’s snapped through the winter and a hand rail but I didn’t know the gates were so rotted, I found some pallet wood that’s almost the right size so repaired all thee gates and concreted in new posts, finished off with a coat of creosote that I happened to have in stock. Ive got to finish the hand rail but earned lots of brownie points. 6 Triumph66, Alan, Cub Cadet and 3 others reacted to this

Stormin 4,458 #3 Posted May 5, 2020 You and your gates! Seeing those gave me the push to give the yard 5 bar gate a freshen up.
the showman 4,074 #4 Posted May 17, 2020 Bit more progress to the front of the house, Hand rails cut to size and glossed white next job on Pams list is the canopy which is now 19 years old and suffered from water leaks so the wood is pretty rotted. No prizes for guessing where the tower and ladders came from but came in handy today With some help from my Son and Grandson the canopy is now down and smashed to bits ready for the tip 2 Alan and Cub Cadet reacted to this

the showman 4,074 #9 Posted June 20, 2020 Next job on Pams list is the driveway gates, they were rotted out and I ended up having to make new frames as well. 3 Alan, Stormin and pmackellow reacted to this

the showman 4,074 #11 Posted June 20, 2020 At least it stops people looking up my drive and they open nicely
Stormin 4,458 #12 Posted June 20, 2020 Just a point. I'd have put a diagonal on each gate. Top centre to bottom outer. Help prevent any sag.
