nigel 1,876 #1 Posted December 6, 2021 Well after 15 years my lease was up on my workshop and the powers that be won’t extend it, so what do I do? 2 choices realy, first one is retire and sit in my rocking chair pissing me knickers and dribbling until I snuff it , or start again, we’ll it wasn’t rocket science and the decision was made. 😂 And 2.5 weeks later 6 Maxwell-8, Stormin, ranger and 3 others reacted to this
nigel 1,876 #2 Posted December 6, 2021 And 2.5 weeks later and a lot of hard work from my boy KARL and his mate Nick I’ve ended up with a workshop you could only dream of.
Stormin 4,458 #3 Posted December 6, 2021 No doubt you'll soon fill it up. 1 nigel reacted to this
Alan 1,273 #4 Posted December 6, 2021 Good choice you made Nigel. But did you really need all that room for your rocking chair. ? And I see you have already pissed on the floor. Now you need to find enough stuff to fill the spare space. 1 nigel reacted to this

Stormin 4,458 #7 Posted December 7, 2021 Mount a 45 gallon steel drum on it's side, just above it. Chimney into one end and an outlet one on the other. That will get heated as well.
nigel 1,876 #8 Posted December 7, 2021 Well I lit my fire this morning and with in 5. Minutes the condensation on the roof started dripping every where 🙄 so now I will have to bite the bullet and lag and board the roof, more bloody expence
Anglo Traction 1,016 #9 Posted December 7, 2021 Well done Nigel. An awesome building/workshop to turn out your awesome projects in . As for condensation, looks like there is still a lot of moisture to remove before it's fully dry at this time of year. Wish you many happy hours in it. 1 nigel reacted to this

Perhaps you could have the whole inside sprayed with the foam used on potato storage barns, I don’t know what the cost would be, but I do know in my farmer mates barns, it’s very effective!
