the showman 4,074 #1 Posted June 29, 2014 I was sitting at Nutley Windmill today when this old guy walked over and stood looking at Shak'in Horse, he beckoned me over and I thought " O here we go" We started having a chat then he said " ive got a Raider 10 if you want it, he said it had been fitted with a diesel engine and had been under a sheet in his garden for a few years and that he only lived a 100 yds down the road, Well what could I say but only it was a bit of a chore but to help him out I would pick it up ( he had to force me to do it Pam). The best bit was it was on the road but he couldn't find the log book, so said he would sent it.

Ian 2,417 #20 Posted July 1, 2014 WOW!! That's the best bodge I've seen on an axle!! At least there might be a few spares inside the trans.. I have to wonder if they pulled the axle out and turned it on a lathe, or did they just put it in gear and hold a file against the axle!
the showman 4,074 #21 Posted July 1, 2014 The thread is just butt welded on the end of the axle
