Just noticed you cut the gear stick off, you just need to undo the set screw to lift it out....

Well after having a sleepless night due to Mark mentioning articulation and Chris mention having a rear lift axle I decided to do a little redesigning and I've now made the rear axle articulate , I still got loads of work to do on this but I think I going in the right direction with it . I'm just making spreader plates which will be facing each other on the pivot point which will have grease between the. Similar to fith wheel coupling on a lorry to help it articulate and spread the load . Here is what I've done so far !

Well big progress today Bendy is back to a rolling chassis... I fit the remaining oil seats in the front transmission, ordered some more woodruff keys and started the reassembly process. Lots of new nuts and bolts, its a shame to fit rusty ones back in especially when you can see them..... well I did cheat reusing the old ones for the transmission and the wheel bolts, 7/16 unf are hard to come by and not so cheap. I'm going to buy some zinc and have a go at electroplating them. Also got the remote shift working the forward reverse, just the high low lever to fit. the cat sneaked into a shot

lucky old you ian you could get the engine vapour blasted that will bring it up to an intense shine without much elbow grease on your behalf which means you could spend your time getting the tractor finished
