Sonny's is out of business and has been for a couple of years. That's two guys working out of a 'Garage in a Box' in their back yard and trying to capitalize on what's left of Sonny's name. They just ripped off what was on the old Sonny's site The best source on the internet for Bolens, and other GT manuals as well, would be the GTTalk forums. They have 2201 files related to all of the various Lawn and Garden tractor equipment manufacturers, 567 of which are related to Bolens. They include Operators and Parts manuals for tractors and implements, Service Bulletins, advertising brochures, etc.

A cold March Sunday and 23 machines and their owners gathered at Isfield Station in East Sussex for the Spring Meet and Greet Many Thanks to those who turned up, here's some photos starting with the traditional group photo...

Just thought I'd offer this machine on here before the dreaded ebay. For sale is the 475th howard 300 ever made, from the first year of production 1963. Engine number is original as well, a Briggs and Stratton, I restored this rotavator about 5 years ago and have only shown it twice, I tried to start it around two years ago, but I seem to remember the ignition was playing up. For anyone who's interested it's the machine on the howard 300/350 page on my website www.howardgem.webs.com there's also a new set of blades somewhere. Open to offers as I've no idea what it's worth,would rather it goes to a good home. Carriage to any uk address fine at cost price. Also series 2 howard gem with steel wheels for restoration or spares £80. Again carriage at cost is no problem.

It's a Bolens 600. It's shorter than the 800 and 900. Also doesn't have the Hi/Lo change rod on the dash.
