Nowt' wrong with a black chassis, Jon. Have you seen my C-121? The Black Horse? If you think it's all right black, that's all that matters. Anyway, red and black go well together.

    Howard help or anyone else

For those that don't know the cluch assembly just slides off or would if it hasn't gone rusty and needs a little help with a puller. The crankshaft hasn't got a tapper nor any hidden set screws just a woodruff key.

    Mitsubishi D1450FD

As requested, one or two photos of my Mitsubishi doing what it was bought for - taking fallen trees out of a 10 acre woodland at the back of the house. I initially bought a Ransomes MG 5 for the job but it couldn't cope with exposed tree roots and big stones sticking out of the ground used to knock the tracks off. It is amazing the size of trees it can deal with, and if it struggles you just cut another bit off the tree. The tarpaulin is covering one of three piles of logs waiting to be split and fed in to the pot bellied wood burner in the workshop.

    C-120 refurb.

As one or two know I acquired a C-120 off Chris (The Showman) at Newby Hall. One of the things it required was a new nearside driveshaft seal. On removing the wheel and hub, I could detect some play in the bearing. After some thought I decided to replace the bearings as well. Left alone new seals would only wear quicker. The transmission was left to drain. Actually left for a couple of weeks. Today I thought I'd remove the trans, but I got a little carried away. Spot the missing bit. That's it so far. A rolling chassis and a pile of bits. The tin ware is in surprisingly good condition. Thankfully! Apart from the missing corner bit, no holes or gaps where there shouldn't be any.

    C-120 refurb.

Well the C-121 is now up and running. Still mods to do, but they will get done in time. Bit different to how it looked almost 12 months ago. All that's left now is the arrival of the stickers. Also new tyres when funds allow.

    C-120 refurb.

Got the hood stand finished painted and in place. The top part is only sitting there while I decide whether or not to leave it silver. Not the best of photo's, but comments welcome?
