Dropped two horses at the show, and then took a detour to Warrington
-
It's our 18th rally the weekend, hoping for better weather. Here's the trailer loaded up.

That's a serious amount of sh1t, maybe I should check C4 as it does run lumpy sometimes...
-
the one at the front without a stack had a full rebuild - i.e. engine, piston, rings, seals, gaskets as well as rear end. Would be a very reliable buy!

Which end do you mean?
one end is 1/2" JIC, the other looks like ISO A. If they are ISO they are easy to get hold of, but usually to BSP. If you need JIC then it's easier to get pipes made to adapt than it is to get JIC to BSP....

Always good when they want to help, my youngest did hours ferrying stuff when we moved last year!

As some of you know, we are rebuilding ewans cub and engine.
Whilst undoing one of the head bolts it sheared off. We tried welding a nut, but it sheared below.
So I ground the top and tried to drill it.... The welding has hardened the bolt so it couldn't be drilled we bought a carbide drill and set to. It all went well until the drill snapped in the block.... Double doh!
Fortunately we managed to get the end to drop into the exhaust port. So ran another drill through and then started to clean out the threads.
Until snap! The tap snapped when it hit the curve of the exhaust port. Not happy, desperation saw me drill the tap with a carbide pcb drill, three 1mm drills later I managed to break the tap up in the hole and into the exhaust port.
I was going to give up last week, but it shows that a bit of perseverance pays off!

It will have been a raider 10. The Norletts were gold or red, they never rebadged a raider. They were A90 specials, 4 speed with a Briggs 8 Hp engine.
out of interest, what was the year and serial number?

Depends if you took a pic or just videod
-
Need a high res version of this
-
Makes sense... Took nearly ten tonne in the press to get one of Ewan's Westwood wheels off
-
How do folks manage that!
-
Got two lawn Rangers.... But not painting them gold!
-
Scout was based on the lawn ranger
-
Commanders and scouts were gold. T8 36 was red... My dads came green, but was gold underneath
-
Nice! My dad has one of those...
-
Brought up with landies and range rovers.... Dad has had 4 classics over the years, brother has had one for the last 15
-
first one suzuki SJ or daihatsui - thats not a landy chassis or axles
bottom one, disco or range rover chassis - guessing range rover by no rear crossmember. Thats a LWB salisbury rear axle too.
I think I can see the original RR classic steering wheel too
-
-
Got it! Poor Harrow with all that weight on
