    Hi all
The ploughs are as follows Ransome TS42 pulled by MG crawler the wheelhorse has a plough borrowed from a BMB cultmate walk behind My own plough is part of a pair one left hand one right hand
They are called a butterfly ploughs but when you are competing you can only use one plough
hope this gives you an idea what we use
    Thanks

Thanks Iain, the house move is nearly there now. We should get this place straight by the end of the weekend..

Thanks Doug.. The armchair is very much needed though.. When I'm shattered and had enough I can't just walk across the garden to the house now, so I need the armchair to relax in while waiting for my wife to pick me up in the evenings..

    And then it was gone!!!

    Hi all,
I got one of the atoms out for a play and hooked up the plough

It actually performs really well and has lots of adjustment so you can get the best finish, I'm still learning about the art of ploughing but im getting there.
I also picked up a front weight bracket and two front weights as well as a set of spade lugs which I am very happy about.

    Little and large!

Hope your mrs  does'nt  want it back nigel , it stinks of diesel, no hole in it though so will have to see if your wifes left some money in it.
Still judging be the other witty comments the smell could be a dead cat.  Joke on the side it does have a badge on it but cant remember what it says, I will look. The cap on it is stamped B P (British Petroleum I suppose). I have just made the trolley for the engine today as the one on it was completely rotted so hopefully I can put it on and move it about this weekend.

Thanks James, it's looking like everything is coming together quite well

Yes it could well in interesting to see what comes out of both workshops

Well, a bit of a sad day in more ways than one...

Down came all the decorations that shacks collect over the years.. It feels strange in there without this lot fixed on the walls.. They all hold good memories for me and will be going up in the new workshop along with some bigger stuff that I will once again have wall space for

    And of course....

More stuff boxed up ready to go, even more "shack boxes" stashed in the house!

Even under the big bench has been mostly cleared out and boxed up!

Now you may of noticed in the above photo's a big red something is missing..

Yes the 6x6 went off to it's new home today, here it is all loaded up with it's new owner Mark...

I am of course very sad to see it go, but I am happy that it has gone to such a good home.. To say that Mark is over the moon about is an understatement to say the least.. Yes he has been told about MOM and RS and promises to keep me updated on how he is getting on with it

Lauber1 reacted to Stormin in A pleasurable couple ofdays.
Monday morning with a mate, Bob, we collected a trailer and went up to move my caravan. All went well. Trailer loaded with what I was taking home and caravan lowered to ground and moved to an empty pitch. Then it started.
Came to drive back to where we'd left the trailer and no clutch.   Bonnet up and a small leak was spotted in the pipe running to slave cylinder. My local Land Rover specialists wife kindly came up with a pipe he removed from another vehicle, along with brake fluid. We bled and bled and bled it, all to no avail. 6-30 pm we decided to go home and Sarah, who had kindly stayed with us took us.
Tuesday morning collected a slave cylinder and along with more fluid, Bob and I returned in his Range Rover, to do what should have been an hours job. No matter what we did we could not get a pedal.   2-45pm, hungry and getting p****d off decided to tow the Disco back. Bob not to happy with only a rope. So I suggested I drive it back. Selecting low box, 2nd then starting engine off we went.
30-35mph managing to get 3rd now and then, down the A74 and A7. Not to popular with those coming up behind us. Negotiating, traffic lights, roundabouts and the rush hour traffic around the outskirts of Carlisle, we reached the garage, 30 miles and an hour and a half later.
This morning, calling in garage on way to collect trailer in borrowed Disco, I was informed it looks like the clutch release bearing has failed.    The leak in the pipe had thrown us of track.

Hi All This is the last engine in the mentioned barn, a Lister CS 6/1.
I thought the engine was seized but when drained about 3 litres of water out it turned over as you can see the bore dosent look to bad. Just got to free most the moving parts up now.

As one or two know I acquired a C-120 off Chris (The Showman) at Newby Hall.

One of the things it required was a new nearside driveshaft seal. On removing the wheel and hub, I could detect some play in the bearing. After some thought I decided to replace the bearings as well. Left alone new seals would only wear quicker. The transmission was left to drain. Actually left for a couple of weeks.
Today I thought I'd remove the trans, but I got a little carried away.

    Spot the missing bit.

That's it so far. A rolling chassis and a pile of bits. The tin ware is in surprisingly good condition. Thankfully! Apart from the missing corner bit, no holes or gaps where there shouldn't be any.
