Thanks, Will be a good project again when I get time. Has got a few problems which will need to be sorted, the wiring is shot & cut to bits. Battery tray is missing & wrong exhaust Wisconsin TR10D engine needs an air filter top & a dip stick. It does turn over by hand & seller said it runs. But they all say that Those rear tyres have got to go Replace them with some agri grip jobs. Fronts perished also Some stupid person has attacked it with a welder in some places. They have tried to attach the deck with some home made lift brackets. That has all got to go as I like things the way they should be. Needs the seat sorting also Not sure if to restore or just get it going & sort all its problems

After buying the Cub Cadet local to me yesterday, I thought I would drive to Oxford & buy this also A Bolens 1050 c/w deck & rotorvator. All in need of some tlc.

I would like to do a full restoration, but wont be for a long time yet. Got a baby to look after now So the plan will be to remove the engine & give it the once over. My mate said it did run well. I will take the chassis to work & steam clean it then oil her up If it turns out well I may just leave it how it is Any info would be great! Year of man???

WHAT!!! Have to see what I can do with it before hand. See if I can fit it in between nappy changes

I will restore it at some point in the future. I will get it going again when I have time. The engine is not the original one my mate seems to think, but is the same as what was fitted. I do have the recoil starter. I dont know if these were electric start?? This model did not have fenders, but later ones did I think

Mate of mine has had this in his garden for 15 years. He wanted to sell it & thought it was worth a fortune in its current condition. We finaly done a sensible deal we were both happy with & I picked it up today. Its got some wheel weights. It did have a snow plough & deck but they are long gone Needs to go through my loving hands in my workshop.The steering is stuck solid! When that maybe I dont know?

Lucky. Bet we will never have anything like that in the UK Years ago I knew of an HT20 which had a cab. It was hung up in the shed for years & when the tractor was taken away it ended up in the skip. I know, I saw it in there. If only I had known all these years later I would own an HT20 it would have fitted. That would have been super rare in the UK

I am sure I have had 2 of these pass through my hands over the years. I am sure I paid £30 for one & £100 for the other which had a blown engine Both went to a mate in Kent & sure he still has one Should have kept them

Its a deck, like you would have under a large frame bolens. Only its on the rear, just to top off the grass etc

Looks like its been sat in a barn for years. Doubt he paid top money for it
