Another Solo Multimot delivered today, this is different to all my other power units, it has a primer bulb where the petrol filler cap is on the others and the fuel tank is a completely different design.

The point of a nail is usually square, if you can find a nail the right diameter to fit right in it should be ok.
-
The jet 21 is usually the one that is blocked, I remove the jet by putting the point of a dart in the hole to stop it distorting then give it some gentle heat making sure there is no petrol left in bowl, then use a pair of pin nose pliers to gently twist and pull the jet out but proceed with care, the jet is easily damaged.

Nice machine, maybe a stupid question but does it work by shaking the branch ?
-
Nice pictures, especially the Mini.

I got it from ebay, it is made in China but I thought its worth ago. It has digital controls, a stainless basket, it is a 10 litre capacity, you wont need one that big, the tank size is 300x240x150mm, a 6.5 litre tank size is 300x150x150, would probably do for you. I haven't tried the cleaning fluid.

Ive just bought one, delivered today. First impressions are quite good cleaning a couple of carbs but it didnt shift the thicker grime tucked away in crevises but scrape the thick off and ok, also the heat softens the paint so that comes away easier, ok if you want the paint off.

Unfortunately for the general law abiding citizen its a lot easier to catch a speeder than a burgler and easier to get the money in.

A very similar MTD but been messed about with. Not sure how to add a link but it works if you copy and paste.
-
I dont think mine has had an engine change but it could have. I did find some other makes the same as these on a US website, not sure but I think the Landmaster is a re badged MTD.

What spares are you looking for
-
It is marked PATENT but there is no number so Patent could be the maker. A quick search on Google came up with an identical but smaller clamp sold on ebay about 2 weeks ago.
-
Thanks for the dating, yes it works, takes up to 4 inch. The only problem the picture frame theory is the wheels that push the joint together are knurled so they could mark the wood.
-
Yes I guess its for picture frames or similar, sorry not thinking of selling it.
-
Hi, I have some Barford fingers but not sure if they are the same, can you remove it for a better comparison

An old tool rescued from the skip at work about 10 years ago, I think I know what its use is but have no idea of its age.
